I would cry if they changed this.

Why do you think they are?

However as a master musician it was very frustrating to have to do a line of dance and ID boxes so I could do what a master musician is supposed to do and know all the instruments. The fact that the coolest song and instrument in the friggin game is only available to master entertainers is really a bit of a slap to the master musician.

There is, to my knowledge, no plans to touch the master box any time soon, for better or for worse.

Personally I'd like to see the profession specific stuff out of the master box, and instead put in something that benefits all entertainers equally. However that is only my personal views, not what I present as community views. The community view is just that master entertainer needs something worthwile for non-musicians.

Inside my heart is breaking, my make-up may be flaking
But my smile still stays on
My soul is painted like the wings of butterflies
Fairytales of yesterday will grow but never die

I would LOVE to see the mando and ceremonial put into the musician tree. The rewards for master entertainer could be MUCH better if they benefited all entertainers equally. Besides its a slap to the face for all musicians, especially master musicians to not give them one of the coolest instruments and requested songs (for weddings and such) unless they get 4 boxes of ID and 4 boxes of dance. Does anyone care to explain to me why i would need to understand make-up and the footloose dance in order to play that song or use that instrument? And no this isnt a slight against dancers or Image designers, i love both of ya! 8)

Must be the natures of the trainers - only renassaince Ents who do everything, know everything will teach you the art of the mando... if you are willing to study everything and learn everything!

I was more proud to become Master Entertainer than I was to become Master Musician (and my alt was more proud to become Master Entertainer than Master Dancer). The title shows that you really care enough about the entertainer profession to become a master - not just taking the skill you need for your own "elite" profession.

Ceremonial, the mando and the special dances (even if they are not that good unless you have acres of space) are what makes Master Entertainer special. Joining a band and pulling out the mando produces a great sound - instead of the same old same old.

Yes it gives Master Entertainers one over the Master Musicians as they can't play Ceremonial. How I look at it is you are not a Master Musician or a Master Dancer unless you are also a Master Entertainer.

Maybe the Devs should change the Dancer and Musician trees so that people first have to be a Master Entertainer - it uses up only a few extra skillpoints.

Yeah, I mean it sucks how TK's and fencers and swordsman at master level can't Lunge2 without having mastered brawler, and how architects and DE's and WSs can't make quite a few of thier items without master artisan components. So yeah /agree to leave them where they are unless they want to give master ents even better song and instruments for musicians to complain about not having.
