Does a player town be of a certain sice to hold a cantina?

No. But the placer must be either a master muscian or master dancer.

Oh how nice as im master chef... but i kinda need my lots it is possible to place it and then transfer it over to another player (non master but still entertainer)?

No, the player you transfer to must be one of those master professions to do so.

I believe the city must be rank 2 (Village) or better. Has someone found that not to be the case?

Does it? I don't remember. I was suppose to place one in a new Town but it never actually formed..

According to the Architect Boards, yes, I city must be in rank 2, to place a cantina
