My wife and I, getting bored with the same old SWG grind, decided to try our hands at mkaing SWG music videos. WE have called it Shadowfire Films. We have come up with many ideas for our first few videos, and my wife is even singing for one of them (she is slowing down on smoking and getting her singing voice ready ). We came upon one problem though. We need in-game help doing the captures. Two people can do some stuff but, it would be much better to have people to come and help us when needed.

So I am asking anyone on the Shadowfire server (or anyone that wants to make a character on Shadowfire, to help with this project) to please send an In-Game Email to Ferros. In this email please give a few details about your character. Such as:

1) Gender:

2) Species:

3) Professions/Skill level:

4) And if you are a dancer/musician, please state whether you are these professions because you like to do it or just because you can buff and make creds off of it. I ask this because this gives me an idea whether you just like to see toons dance and play music and not doing it for some other reason. Some other reason is fine, but once again just gives me an idea ofyour thoughts on the part of entertainers in SWG.

5) And also, if interested please give me an idea of how involved you would like to be. As in would you just like to be on call for different videos, would you like to have a say in a few things(although my wife and I are the ones that will be capturing the video and editing it into the final production), or whatever.

6) If we can get enough people to sign on to this (these) project (s) then I would love to start the Shadowfire Films guild. I currently have a guild hall on Dantooine in the city of Devotion. My wife has a cantina placed. So we have the main staging areas for indoor shooting down. Please let me know if you would be interested in joining the guild.

7) anything you want to add is fine. It will help me understand what you want out of Shadowfire Films

P.S. We are in need of all types of professions/species/genders, for ex: our first video will not include any dancing, but we are in need of a few people to fire at each other from off the camera with an LLC (doesnt matter if you are certified) for special effects purposes, and maybe also a flamethrower.So ANY profession you are and are interested come on, i'm sure we can find something for you to do, and Image designers will be very helpful

Like I said, my wife and I have a few videos planned. If you are interested in helping us out, I will fill you in on our ideas. And also we will be taking any helps ideas in consideration. First off we will shoot a few videos we have thought up to see if we can do this and people will enjoy the videos. After that I am definetly open for any Ideas.

Unfortunetly, we decided to start this a little late for the Lucasfiles.com fan videos contest. But we are hoping to have quite a few quality fan videos by next years contest. Also, just as a warning, although we are doing these videos, I myself am a fulltime undergrad taking 18 credit hours, working a min. of 12 hours a week, am married (so like to spend time with my wife out-of-game), and my wife is in same boat, but most of our free time we spend on SWG. So we wont be on alot during weekdays, but weekends are most likely going to be shooting times.
