Thread: (embarassed) How do I use my droid?

I'm not sure if it because I am using Firefox, but the "things every entertainer should know" link is not working for me.
So this weekend I was amazingly lucky. I remarked to someone on Flurry how I was saving up for an ent droid and they tipped me 200k to buy one! +dizzy+ THEN that night I won one on Starside in a raffle. So I have gone from being the victim of major droid envy to the proud owner of TWO. I've looked at them, I've trained them, I've petted them. I have no idea how to use them. How do I make the jawas come out? And the foam? None of the commands I can teach it seem like they would turn on the effects and the only other options I get are recharge and store. I tried feeding it, but it is at 100%.
Can anyone point me to the manual?

If you pull up the radial, you'll see an option to toggle effects. Toggle them on. I think on that same radial button, it allows you to set a certain effect for a certain interval. So toggle on your effects and set, for example, foam to 30 second intervals. In a few, you'll see your foam continue on the interval you set until you toggle the effects off.
If you play around with the radial, you will figure it out, just takes some tinkering

Droid Options
- store
- recharge
Program
- store
- group
- Clear patrol Points
- Get patrol Points
- Patrol
- Get in wedge formation
- Get in column formation
- Befriend
- Stay
- Follow Target
- Follow Me
No toggle.
Do I need to be inside for it to work? *runs to log on again*
Edit: No... still no toggle. Er... I am only an Entertainer... do I need to be Dancer or Musician?

Yes, you need to be at least Novice Dancer to use an effects droid or Novice Musician to use effects or playback droids.

Or get those other characters up to novice musician or dancer

Oh they will... eventually. I very rarely grind, and I hate big afk groups though so I don't expect it will be before March. 
Maybe sooner now that I have these bright shiny droids to taunt me. Iosan has been leveling for many many months... quicker now that I've learned to sneakily time my flourishes to hide in the band flos during cantinas crawls. :shifty:

Well, if you can deal with the sarcasm, I'm the type of droid that will follow your command even before you reach novice musician or dancer! Well, not commands to do fog or dancing jawas.. but I can play music! and other things...
