Name of Event: Cantina Crawl: Run for the Sun
Galaxy: Sunrunner
In-game Contact: Ilanna
Location: (including planet and coordinates) Starting point is the Dragon & Pawn Cantina in the city of New Haven, Naboo. Coords 411 -5651
Date: Time: (include time zone) December 18, 7 pm EST
Purpose of Event: A massive multiplayer experience for a massive multiplayer world.
Join us on an adventure of dancing, drinking debauchery, music and mayhem like this galaxy has never seen!
Lets set the world on fire with our merriment as we make our way across the planet via player owned cantinas. All players are welcome, entertainers and spectators of all levels. There will be dance troupes and groups catering for all abilities.
This is a non-factional event, so please come covert and support your live entertainers.
Warning: This event may be filmed. Your chance to be famous
NOTE: It is strongly urged that participants wear red & white clothing for the event. It's that season, y'know...

/cheer Yay Cantina Crawl on Sunrunner!
If you don't mind I'll drop you an e-mail in game. I would love for everyone to drop into our Player City Cantina! Mesric Heights, Tantooine, just outside of anchorhead (I can drop you the waypoint) I've downloaded the previous video and I have to say great job!
I'd also like to say I support ATK entertainers! I am not an entertainer myself, I'm a combat profession. When I visit cantina's for my battle fatigue and buffs the business goes to players not the bots, just to let you guys know there are those of us outside the Ent profession that support you!

No guarantees, but if I'm around on Saturday, I'll roll up a character on Sunrunner, and hang out with ya for a while if that's alright.

My computer did some weird stuff a few days ago and now I can't play any games. 
So the hubby and I went ahead and just bought a new one...but it hasn't arrived yet. So unfortunately I don't think I'll be making this.

Sunrunner's first Cantina Crawl was a smashing success!! We had about 40 people at one point, and at least 1/3 of that were non-entertainers who were there to show support for us.
I was dancing on the stage in the second cantina, and saw some guy come in... his name floated above his head. Hmmm. Boba Fett. I'm thinking to myself, "Great. Doesn't this guy know about copywrite stuff? How in the world did that pass the name filters?" I see him talking to one of the folks from town about Jabba sending him to pick up some sort of space ship part he'd taken from one of Jabba's pals. I think, "Wait a minute..."
I finally manage to click on the guy and type /ex. It was really Boba Fett. The armor, the jetpack.... all the right colors! The gun, the mannerisms...
The guy from town (who is not usually a roleplayer) really seemed to get into the whole thing. Long story short, Fett incaps him and takes back the starship part. He left the cantina, and took off with the jetpack.
Totally amazing!! Best Star Wars moment ever! A moment or two later, everyone gets the Has Participated in a Live Event Badge.

Well, folks.. it was great! I was a bit too under the weather to hang for the whole event, but I heard the crawl grew to a count of 40, both performers & spectators. Not bad for a first try.
There was an unexpected occurrence... Jabba sent a surpise visitor... BOBA FETT! Seems one of the spectators had something that belonged to Jabba. (Hi'tu... that was a REAL bad idea, guy... )
)After a bit of dialogue back & forth... (a very SMALL bit... this IS Fett we're talking about...) poor ol' Hi'tu wound up eating a blaster bolt, & Fett took back the missing item, left the cantina & departed via jetpack.
(Thanks to Pex for setting that up, and Hi'tu for playing along. He wasn't the prearranged target, and did a greatimprov!)
