Havent been on for awhile and just got back in swg, and heard that there is some entertainer quests the gives rewards like new songs and dances. Is that true? and if so can someone plz tell me where too find them or give me a place where i can find info on it?

Go to any NPC Theater and talk to the Theater Manager back behind the stage. There are 2 new dances and 1 new song that can be gotten through this quest. Warning: each of these requires that you have 400k xp of the appropriate kind (dance/music) to get each dance/song.

Also, just to elaborate on the xp cost to learn the new song or dance routine, you'll have to have at least Dance or Musical Technique or Knowledge III or higher to bank the required 400k xp. So while you can do the quest as an Entertainer, you won't be able to use the rewards until you've taken the elite professions and spent some time leveling up in them. Whether or not to burn the xp as soon as you can, or finish out the Tech/Knowledge lines and wait until you've got the spare is one of those things that everyone feels differently about.

Actually, someone did tests, and found that you only need knowledge/techniques I to be able to bank the required xp.

However keep in mind, using Ballad or Popular will take a lot longer to bank 400k exp then using an Exotic or Jazz/Virtuoso. Also keep in mind, both Western and Theatrical are novice skills and the exp they grant is similar to that of Ballad/Popular.

I've noticed. It's a bit annoying since with any other song, XP is based on the higher of the song or the instrument. The 'Western' song gives low XP, no matter how high an instrument it is played on.
