Thread: theaters?
If you place one.. you'll only be MORE confused. They are effectively city decoration and nothing else. No useful entertaining can go on in them... Oops, sorry... did I say 'in them'. The only INSIDE of a theater is the hallway to get to the buiding control panel. The stage and 'standing room only' audience area are outside in the elements. Meaning, NO lighting, NO furniture, NO Nalargons, etc.
I know of no one using them at the moment. They need to be fixed. Make them a LARGE building - still smaller than say the Theed Theater, and make them use city lots, not the entertainers.
Apparently they're great places for riflemen to snipe from. Other than that, they blow.
It's possible to heal audience members sittingon the ground in the stands...as long as you have two performers. One has to stay backstage, and the other has to be grouped with the backstage performer but be out on the stage...which has no lighting built in, so you can't see anything at night unless the mayor has put down streetlights. And you can't play the Ommni Box or Narlagon out onstage.
It's a waste of three lots, basically. If it were an indoor theater, it would work. But the stage is the equivalent of a balcony on a house, where you can't do anything because it's not insidea player structure.
