ENtertainers Unite. PLease dont chime in weith teh usual lets fix what we
have first comments; I am well aware of the fact that our current
proiffessions need tweaking. This is something that should be done though.
As this is a dynamic player driven universe i find it very sad that A
PERFORMANCE ARTIST profession was not incorporated--would have more sense in
the fourth tree slot of entertainer then image desig(DIGRESSION SORRY)--If
we are to trully be player driven then give us the tools to do so. Give us
a porffession that will allow us to entertain mass amounts of peopele on
stagees or in cantinas. a performance artist could alloww for a graet
outlet of creativity in the game. The way i see it drawn up is as a starter
profession--at this point it would have to be---that can lead to future
elite or hybrids. The way i figured it would work be as follows:

Performance Artist

Stage Management (tree 1) Poetry (tree 2) Dramatic Action (tree
3) Singer OR Stage Combat (tree 4)

Stage management would include things such as: Performance pormotion,
Ticket sales, Blocking, Coreograaphy(music, dance, (possibly pet actions)
that can be synchronized at certain parts of a play or poetry performance
etc), Stage COmbat/PLay(very necessary) , PLay BIll creation and Script
Creation (blank ITems that can be written in and then turned into a schemtic
for reproduction,perhaps some of this could even be saved for an elite in a
DIRECTOR/PRODUCER elite proffession

POetry: would allow for access to: POetic forms(preset templates for poetry
design --perhaps using the macro system) , body animations, Lyrical type
sets and fonts(for visual presentaion of lyrics) , as well as flourishes
COuld lead to a poetry profession(stretching i know but its a possibility)

Dramatic Action would allow access : Drama/PLay recital emotes and
animations, Drma Typesets and FOnts, Mime anitmations, as well as
flourishes ( lead to an actor porfession another stretch)

Singer would get asccess to their own typsets and fonts,also they would get
access to their own animations and emotes as well as flourishes

Stage Combat -- would allow for the progression of stage combat techniques.
This would enable pistol duels to be done using the flourish commands or to
engage in fencingcombat with swords. It would allow progression ot use
STAGE PISTOL, STAGE FENCING, STAGE FISTICUFFS(or BRawling), and EXOTIC STAGE
WEAPONS , could also incorporate the batman actions sounds (CLASH...
SWACK... BAANG)

This would allow for great diversity in community interaction between at least half of the current professions: INcluding Tailor(wardrobe design), Image Designer, Dnacers and Muasicians, Architects for degining porps and buildings(performance halls and stages etc) per haps even merchants. Minors/surveyors would have a nother source to sell there resoureces too also. SO what do you guys think let me know?
