Great q. I've been in a theater once or twice...and ran away very fast the most recent time I was there. There was an AFK Macroer on the stage dancing. And she had sentances included in her macro that would go on every so often. They were ANNOYING and utterly random. "Dude looks like a lady" "Shake that booty! Shake shake shake!" "Don't believe everything you see on TV or magazines" and other loads of crud. I was like X____________________x;;;;; and tempted to say "I'll tip you if you'll PLEASE SHUT THE HELL UP!"

Honestly...what's up with that? If you're going to macro, don't put stupid crap like that, if you're going to do song likes at least do the whole fricken song instead of bits and pieces from multiple songs.

UM....back to the topic, sorry.

Theaters are gorgeous. I love them. I'd so dance there, but they never generate a crowd. And there's so much room on stage....so...much....room...<3<3<3 We need to attend Theaters more! Go! Now! :ushes people to theaters::

we had a well put together concert in theed a few weeks ago(thank you yoni and mericat for setting that up)

it was great! had a decent sized crowd, had a blast in the 3 day event(2 days of rehearsal REALLY put everything in the right places)

the only complaint that we, the entertainers had that none of the ones there to watch it was... theaters are too dang BIG... bad lighting and the sheer size made it hard to hear the music incertain places in the area, and the dancer animation was "truncated" the further from the stage the viewer was at(watch a dancer from 15 meters away and you will see what i mean)

but all said and done, we all had a blast, the watchers had a good time and it flowed nicely

theaters are great for organised shows, but for healing, everyone has come to accept that cantinas are where the field classes go first to heal.

it my be possible to get the word out that the entertainment has moved to the theater for a change of scenery(sp)

but eventually, you will still have to move back to the cantina to draw the crowds, too hard to get the word out to an entire server that 'so-and-so city is using the theaters' as those that are just passing through for a night or just decided to move will visit a cantina first, see it empty and move to another city in most cases
