I have a problem: I'm brand new at this, and I'm getting so many system messages about performing flourishes and earning XP that I can never see it when I recieve a tip. Is there a way to turn off the XP and flourish system messages?? I KNOW I'm doing a flourish - no need to tell me!

I did this after reading about it here in the forums:

Take the system messages out of your Spatial Window ...
- right click on the tab
- modify chat channel
- take away the sytem messages by highlighting them in the right box and pressing the arrow to the left box

Take your combat tab and drag and drop it so it is a new window, make it thin, so it doesn't take away much room (I have it in the lower right corner) but be sure to make it as wide that most system messeges just take one row ...

Go to the Options ... CTRL+O
- Chat Messages
- type in "tips you" and click on "Add sentance"
- chose a color that catches attention
- optionaly do the same with the phrase "heals you" or whatever ...

This way ...
a) you see the chat going on much better, very important as entertainer
b) you always see the tips in that seperate window ... you can always pull up it's hight to get the latest tip if your away for short time ...

At the very least, I'd like to see the Entertainer Healing xps all grouped into one line.

As it is, I sometimes see three different Ent Heal xp numbers and one Dancing xp number. Group those three together. I guess it's registering at different times because of people's individual pulses, but I don't know.

Love Star Wars, but the few role-players I could find on the servers were outnumbered by powergamers who wanted only l337 l00t and mad skillz. I can't justify paying $15 a month to play a game by myself.
Still cares enough to interject an opinion, though.
