The Watchmen of Naritus, Talus, Daeric invite you to the greatest show in the galaxy!
This is the Ultimate Fighting Championship, Star Wars style and will be held monthly on the first Saturday at 11am Pacific Coast Time!

Entrance Fee will be 30,000 credits for participants and 1,000 credits for spectators.
Participants that pay in advance will only be charged 20,000 credits.
Fighting slots limited to 100 players, SO GET YOUR ENTRY FEE IN TODAY!

The prices are hot and we mean "HOT"!

First place: 500,000 credits (yes, thats half a milllion bucks)
Second place: a large House, planet and style chosen by the participant
Third Place a medium house, planet and style chosen by the participant

But you think that's all? Your thoughts couldn't be farther from the truth!
Multiple side events are beeing held as well, free for all participants and spectators. Including:

Player vs Creature Battle
Quickdraw contest
Creature vs Creature tournament
Brawling Tournament

And there are prizes for those as well!

Survivor of the Player vs Creature series: 30,000 credits
Winner of the quickdraw contest: 20,000 credits
winner of the Brawling contest 75,000 credits
winner of the creatuire vs creature contest: 20,000 credits

The winner of each event will have a screenshot of their character with a bio enshrined in the home page of The Watchmen.

For the well being and personal recreation we will field Entertainers and Barkeepers. And a Great fireworks show and parade will be held for the overall Victor of the grand Tournament.

Masters of the Universe

A PvP Tournament in SWG

Rules of Combat:

Prior to the Match:

No cash refunds, except in the case of the tournamemnt authority failing to initiate the tournament within a timespan of one hour, counted from the official starting time of the tournament.
All participants have to show up one hour prior to the official tournament start or their approximate tourney starting time.
No Bug exploits! Abilities that falsely provide abilities of other classes are not to be used and violation of this point leads to disqualification (e.g. Disarming shot 2 that provides area Knockdown from the Carbineer profession to Pistoleers)
No Pets! During the tournament it is strictly forbidden to use any Pet. This includes Faction pets, Droids or Creatures
The entrance fee must be fully paid to be allowed to participate in the tournament.

Start of the match:

The Opponents will group with the Judge.

The players initiate the duel with weapons unequipped. After initiating the duel, they will bow to each other to show their respect to their opponent. After that they bow to the judge to show their respect to the tournament authority.

Both opponents wait for the judge to signal the start of the combat. Only after the judge signals will players equip weapons and begin the duel.

Match rules:

All attacks not excluded by other rules are allowed.
The fight ends with the death of one opponent, the survivor declared victor.
No outside intervention is allowed and breaking this partz of the rule leads to punishment and disqualification.
Contestants are not allowed to leave the combat area until one contestant is dead.
All weapons are legal, although traps may not be used.

Post match rules:

All participants leave the combat area after the victor is declared.
The judge will disband the group prior to declaring the victor.

The tournament victor is declared through a modified Knockout system. The winner of the round stays in the victor column, the loser of the round changes into the loser column. Both columns continue in the tournament. The loser of a loser column round is terminated from the tournament.

Side events:

Participants as well as spectators are free to join the several side events, which include:

-Player vs Creature Battle
-Brawling contest - brawler vs brawler
-quickdraw contest - Dogg will have to explain this to me, and tell me how we overcome lag...
-Creature vs creature contest CH vs CH would be fun.

Rules for which are given below:

-Player vs Creature battle:
the participants will fight through a series of creatures, with no healing in between. Each following creatue will be stronger than the creature before. A total of 5 rounds will decide over victory.

-Brawling contest:
a plain brawling tournament will be held parallel to the main event. Only Brawlers, Pikemen, Swordsmen, Fencers and teras kasi Artist are allowed in this tournament. It will be held in a simple Knockout system. All attacks are legal. No pets of any kind are allowed.Outside intervention is not allowed. The opponents will bow to each other after grouping with the judge. After that both bow to the judge. They initiate the duel and wait for the judge to signal the start of the round.

-quickdraw contest:
all attacks and weapons are legal. The overall winner is decided by a knockout system. Winner of the round is the one participant that first scores a successfull knockdown.

-creature vs creature Battle:
In this category creature handlers will fight using their creatures against their opponent's creatures. The opponents will bow to each other after grouping with the judge. After that both bow to the judge. They initiate the duel and wait for the judge to signal the start of the round.
Victor of the contest is decided by a simple Knockout system.

the Brawling tournament, quickdraw contest and Creature vs Creature battle is only open for those who enlist prior to the start of the main event.
