was just posting on a rant about tips... and the thought occoured to me what about doing away with tips all together? I myself an sick of a room of dancing./playing zombies who are all grouped and afk. great they are there to heal but the idea is to play the game and interact with ppl thats why most choose the entertainer field.

To eliminate this and the lack of tipping or the excuses for not tipping why not add a hire section to the radial menu? This would require the entertainer to accept the offer given or to deny it... meaning no more afk zombies in the cantinas.. This could also be set up to where the group shares each payment much like a group doing a destroy mission. Just a thought the tip idea was great in theory but lets face it... its not working.

Would love to hear a little feed back on this.

An interesting idea, however I don't like it for a few reasons...

I do entertainment for events sometimes. In those cases I am hired by the event orginizers and everyone else is just listening/watching. In fact, this only makes sense for public locations like cantinas and med centers.

The other problem is would the person accepting payment do so for the entire group, or just for that person? If it is just for the group, they just have to find someone who will do it for free/cheap. If it is for just that person, then the one looking for the heals will have to individually watch/listen to the whole group.

the basic idea is for the healing part... as far as listening anyone can just listen... but to get the benefits of the healing they must pay...

and if the entertainers are grouped they get the benifit of the group not just the entertainer they chose so yes it would get split between the whole group... a major problem i see now is that ppl pick a favorate person to tip and ignore the newr entertainers. and lets face it the more in the group the faster they heal which = less down time..
