I'm not an entertainer but my wife plays a dancer. I've heard some of her complaints about the cantina and have come up with a few suggestions about how to fix them. Feedback on this will help get it to the attention of the Devs.

1. Pets-Pets, with the exception of faction soldiers (excluding AT-ST), should not be allowed inside the cantina period. If someone brings in a pet they should receive a message stating something along the lines of "You have 1 minute to store your pet or it will be jailed" at which point if it isn't stored it will be placed in a pound for animals and a garage for droids. The fee for retreiving your jailed pet will be based on a repeat offender system. First time offenders will have to pay 200 credits. Second 500. Third 1000. Fourth time will result in the loss of the pet. This will stop people from bringing in large pets which block the entertainers, interfere with everyone's ability to chat using the chat bubble system, and completely destroys the cantinas intended atmosphere. If you want to show off new pets or play with your droids do it outside.

2. Bouncing Disruptive Players-Disruptive players have no place in the cantina. Lewd behavior and language is forbidden in the EULA from what I understand. Players who come in and behave in a childish manner asdescribed above should be ejected, or bounced, from the cantina. If three or more entertainers selectthe eject command while having the player selected he should be escourted from the cantina and not be allowed back in for a period of 30 minutes. Another way would be to type /eject (name). To prevent this from being abused it would not be usable by anyone other than the elite entertainer professions, maybe gained as a skill. This would not be usable on any player currently involved inbar brawls, which should be allowed because this is what happens when people drink too much.

3. Stage-A stage should be included in the cantina. This will prevent players from intentionally blocking entertainers or standing around them, preventing them from being watched by all players who wish to enjoy a show. Only entertainers of an elite profession would be allowed on the stage. Anyone else trying to get on the stage would either be placed back on the cantina floor or ejected from the cantina for repeated trying to climb on the stage. AFK entertainers would not be allowed on the stage. If you go afk while on stage you will be ejected from the stage onto the cantina floor.

This is some of the things I came up while trying to figure out ways to increase the enjoyment of the game for all involved, entertainers and their audience. Please leave feedback on what you think.

Large pets should not be allowed i agree, however a droid or a bearded jax is not blocking anyones veiw, droids as they are now are nothing more than mobile signs, alot of entertainers use them for /tip me signs. i htink instead of using the said system you have described just put a size limit on what can enter the buildings

First off, entertainers dont own the cantina, and have no more right to be in there than anyone else, so no, they should not have the ability to "eject" anyone. second, the system your suggest is a a greifers paradise. third, while i agree " childish behavior" is annoying, its completly in the eye of the beholder, whats childish to me may not be to someone else.

I agree a stage would be a great idea, however making it so only the "elite" can get on stage is what i would consider "childish thinking." this game isnt about being elite, and showing how cool or badass you are becasue you can go somewhere someone else cant

Whens the last time you were in a bar or club? How many cats, dogs, lizards, snakes, etc. can you remember seeing there? This isn't a petting zoo or a pet show. Its a place people go to be entertained, or in the case of the game, to get BF and mind wounds healed. So, in this view I believe all pets shouldn't be allowed into the cantina period.

Easily solved. Have entertainers base themselves at a specific cantina and pay a small fee to use that cantina. Problem solved. And they should be able to eject harrassing players. I've been disgusted to see someone walk around using the action "Pinches your #$$" and "Licks up and down your leg". To me that is sexual harrassment and has no place in the game period. So the way it would be set up would work perfectly. It would take three elite profession entertainers to bounce someone out. If they don't wanna be kicked then act like mature people and keep the harrassment out of the game period.

The only reason the stage would be for the elite entertainer professions would be to prevent someone from spending 100 credits (I think its right) to learn novice entertainer and get on the stage and act like an idiot. The one who spends the time to earn the elite profession would be the ones to use the stage because they actually want to be a dancer or musician, not someone who wants to interfere with other peoples playing.

Not attacking you or anything, just simplifying it so others will understand. Thanks for the feedback so far.

Everyone remember the scene in A New Hope, Star Wars 3 whatever you want to call it with Obi Wan and Luke going into the Mos Eisely Cantina to look for a ride off Tatooine? What did the tender say? "No droids allowed in here" Something like that anyway. (In my attempts to check the movie for the exact quote I accidentally woke a sleeping Kurat Dragon............hubby.) Medical droids dont work inside there anyway maybe they shouldnt be allowed to be pulled up at all. I know the ones that are set to patrolling around in a particular area, usually the front of the cantina where the players sit, beeping and chirping can be quite annoying after a bit. Just dont allow them to be called inside if they are an actual droid(Not talking about faction pets such as gunners and troopers and such)

Actually, there are droid detectors in both Mos Eisley Cantinas, sadly they don't work

Another thing is please reduce the NPC population in the big Mos Eisley cantina, not the Lucky Despot Cantina because there is only 1 npc there, when there's more then 5 performers and 10 guests in the cantina it can be really crowded with guests sitting near dancers, musicians tightly packed, try doing formal dance in a cantina and see yourself dance through everyone and everything if you don't position yourself just right.

And I'd appreciate it if Mos Eisley cantina became a safer place, especially with the pet change coming where I have to move outside to feed my pet CU PA called Darkness, Mos Eisley is really dangerous for a small girl like me, I can't go to the bazaar without a escort and last night I needed the dance teacher and before I found him I was almost killed within 10 feet of the cantina as a result I still have not seen the teacher

To be honest, I don't like that pet change much but it's allready announced for the next patch. It takes away a bit of my character's social life, I often do tricks with him, feed him, pet him and stuff while my action is regenerating, some customers liked that, especially the creature handlers
