Thread: Please welcome our new Entertainer Correpsondent!
Hello everyone!
You know the drill already so I'll save the big speeches. I'm here to help get your concerns prioritized and presented to the dev staff in order to make entertainer the best profession it can be. I'll be posting a few threads shortly to solicit some of your opinions and you can always feel free to PM me on the board.
Short background - I was an entertainer during my entire stay in Beta, and I'mbe a master entertainer, Slickriptide, on the Bria server since shortly after launch. My claim to fame is that I like variety and I'm NOT currently planning to become a master musician or master dancer. That particular perspective will hopefully give me some focus on the issues facing general entertainers as opposed to those that target the elite professions specifically.
I'm happy to be acting as your correspondent and I encourage you all to send me your ideas, concerns, flames, what have you. I just got a new asbestos suit so I'm well prepared for the fact that some of my opinions will be different than some of yours. Regardless, I'll do my best to present an unbiased view of the entertainment profession to the people above the forums who need to get that view.

Y'know, I've never really hung out on the Image Design forum. The image designers I know in-game don't think of themselves as "entertainers",per se. Maybe I'll check out what's going on over there just to keep up with the current issues in ID. "Basic" ID, IMO, really ended up under entertainment because there wasn't enough content in the profession to justify a full basic field followed by a full elite field for the it. Maybe that's wrong and the designers planned it this way from the beginning. I've never heard one way or the other.
In any case, I would like to see ID be better represented under the Entertainer umbrella, even if that meant only that a "hook" was added under Master Entertainer that would encourage the image designers to take the plunge and learn the "secondary" skills of the profession as well as their primary skill.

Well, if you're putting something under there that didn't exist before then I can't see how it's taking away from their class.

How about putting the bald hairstyle under ME ? It doesn't take away at all from ID, as it isn't in there from the start. It doesn't take a world class image designer either to shave someone. It rather takes a guy with no respect and finesse
