According to the developers, Image Design is coded in a way that makes it impossible to give a particular skill to ME. ID skills are not based on certifications, they're based on the numerical value of your current skills. Best they could do is give you +1 in the skill. A master image designer who also took master entertainer would end up with more skill than the number of actual skills.

Baldness would be an obvious choice if we DID have certifications but the ID's have been asking for that for themselves since before launch. It would really cause an uproar if it was given to us instead. I like the idea, personally, but I think the community would be better served to have something else inserted under ME.

In any case, it won't change from the current setup any time soon.

I think ME should get something similar to image design.

Like they can put flowers in your hair, or on your lapel... something that isn't done with the ID interface but just an ability that MEs have. I agree they need something more.

Where is a master entertainer's unique image design ablility? I had to waste and entire tree on learning the skill to be a master entertainer I want to be able to sell the service. We need something desirable by nonentertainer player characters.

How about giving ME's the bald style ? Something that no real Image Designer would want to do

It's not much though... I doubt it would appease many. Obviously they got it right about the musician aspect of ME, as proven by how badly musicians want the skills. ME needs skills that dancers and IDs would want too. The two dances should be replaced with actual different dances that aren't "remixes."

Maybe let ME's be the only profession who can use the microphones and speakers in outdoor venues. No can use them now, but they have options to be turned on, so it surely could be implemented. Using the speakers and mic would either make it so you can heal in the general area or so people hear you without /listening.

Yeah, like +10 unique. I.E Flowers in hair, crosages, bows, ribbons, etc.

THAT would be fun. I could make some money

Here's what I like about it -

All it requires is that you add a new category to the ID branches and the associated art so we're working within the existing systems. You give the skill points that activate it only to master entertainer and master image designer. You create two "levels" of the accesories skill. Master entertainer gets "+1 accesssories" and master image designer gets "+1 accessories".

The master image designers that don't take master entertainer will have the same skill that the master entertainer has.The image designers can't complain that something is being taken away from them. However, a master image designer who also achieved master entertainer would acquire new abilities that no other profession would have. That makes master entertainer a value-add for the ID side and gives a great incentive for the ID's to put in the time and skill points to earn master entertainer.

Yeah, a simple system of making it. Couldnt be like bracelts,rings, etc.though, cause Taliors can make those. Something different...maybe for Twi'leks, lekku rings, Humans,bows, ribbons, stuff like that, and if you get both, you get twice as many.

Waho, that's a great idea! I would also like to perhaps see some of the ideas that Kwee posted on the other thread for master entertainers as well. It would really make master a lot more viable!
