How hard would this be:


Assign each dance movement a /slash command... you can choreograph your own routines.

You mean something like "/flourish 1?"


I'm not sure I understand.

More like, step forward is a move, step back is a move, hands up, turl, etc... each move could be chained to be a unique dance routine.

It's a great idea but the bandwidth and synchronization required would make it impractical. Not to mention that the current flourishes are motion-captured from actual dancing. You only have to look at all the complaints about the new flourishes (which were animated similarly to what you're asking for) to see that dancers would not like the look of something that required all of the dancing to be computer animated.


Too bad we can't do some sort of downloadable macro where you could create a dance, download the "program" once, and then activate the animation later on by just sending a single packet down the wire to the client. That would be a feasible way to do things, but you couldn't count on everyone watching you to have the "dance program".
