Ok, thanx to the infinite wisdom of the Holocron, I'm going to start selling off my medic and BH skills so I can pursue Master Entertainer along my path to enlightenment, so I was wondering what would be the quickest way to level up. Would I be better of in a large group in one of the high traffic cities like Bestine or Coronet? Or would experience come quicker on the higher end planets, like Dantooine or Endor, where I would probably be the only entertainment for miles in every direction?

I'm not looking for tips, only experience.

Large groups are the way to go for quick XP. Also places like Anchorhead, Moenia, Theed, and other PVP hotbeds tend ot have more wounded players so you can get your Ent Heal. XP faster.

Also try to recruit someone to just let you keep IDing them over and over agian. You get XP whether you change anything or not. So don't change anything, and they can just keep clicking "accept". No chance of ruining their appearance, but you still get XP.

You can macro though the entire ID tree in less than 10 minutes if you have a willing partner to click accept and train you.

Ha ha! Well, it's not quite that simple. Even if you turned to the Dark Side and hooked up a third-party macro program (which is breaking the EULA) to do your clicking, you're still limited by the speed that your partner clicks accept.

You can get through the first two boxes in about an hour each by working on yourself. With a partner it would take about half that time. The last two boxes would take around 3-4 hours total depending in large part on how efficient you and your partner are and how quickly your mind regenerates.

Yeah it's not 10 minutes. I was halfway to ID 1 just from, over time, changing my lekku from behind to in front and back again depending on mood/wardrobe/headgear. Someone in the band needed just 10 more app pts or something to get master ent. Nobody was close to any skills but since I was halfway to ID 1 I said, "Let me ID you for a while." I did it as efficiently as I could (and so did he), and it still took 20 minutes or so, to do HALF of ID 1. So saying you can do the entire ID tree in 10 minutes is not really accurate.

You could do it in an afternoon, if you really wanted to grind.

I know it is accurate because I did it myself. You guys obviously haven't used a simple in-game macro to do it, but you are correct, you're limited by the speed of clicking accept by your partner. With the macro, however, you're only limited by the speedthey can clickthe accept button whichcan easily be once per second or better on average. At 50 xp a pop ittakes just over 10 minutes to get the 31k xp required for the whole tree.

I would love to see this macro, or a link to where it can be found.

Hmmm... Learn something new every day I guess. It would be interesting to know the exact syntax of that command. With a macro like that you wouldn't to worry about a partner. You'd be accumulating XP so fast that the extra time wouldn't be that big a hit.

I'm not sure just how to feel about this sort of discovery. I suppose it must be something that the folks in the image design forum have known for awhile, but it kind of makes a joke out of doing the work. A macro like that would let you master image design in a day if your hand held out or (more likely) you used that third-party macro to click the accept button.

Well, your mind pool would be anotherlimit, but with a Master Musician buff to cut the mind cost and raise your regen and a Master Dancer buff to raise your mind pool, you could probably do 3-4 boxes in Image Designerbefore having to rest (and probably the whole branch in Entertainer).

Well, I'm a Zabrak and without buffs I ran this macro for 5 minutes straight without needing to stop and regen my mind.

I can't wait til you get home and can post the syntax for the macro

The first holocron gave me Master Dancer, and I had some fun with it. But the second one has given me Master Entertainer, and I've had my fill of the cantina life for a bit so I just want to get through it as quickly as possible without annoying everyone.

Here's the correct macro, I was pretty close the first time:
