I personally never have afk entertained, and never will.

Yes, and before you say, oh, no, another post by an entertainer complaining about afkers, no, I'm not here to talk about that issue per se. As the correspondant for the dancer board and others have noted, it's rather a topic that is beat too much into the ground. This is the first type of this post I've actually felt inclined to put into these boards at all, and it's just from the case of rudenessi got, and I'm surprised I was that cordial to the person.

But had you been, oh, at the keyboard, for any bit of time, you would have seen my warning that I kick people from the group that have been afk for some time, and that's just my belief that it's not fair to people that are there and want in to deny them a spot taken up by someone that has been afk for some time, and that's how I generally do it. Since I'm there, and when leading, I'm observant, and I'll generally let the person back in when they come back and ask.

So tough luck, that's just the way I do things, and sure, please do 'remember that' when you group with me and I'm leading, that's how it will be.

As said, nothing personal, and thanks for that offer to bl*w you, but the horn is enough for my lips right now musicially.

Besides, the group was actually all active at the time, and no one just walking around. Offered to invite this person I'm talking about back in , but they had already run off or whatever and gotten all insulted.

Well, boo hoo, I'm sure some will say I shouldn't group with any afkers or something. Possibly, but I'm not here to talk about that, butjust probably 'whine' as somie might see it about rude people.

So you know, 'whatever' indeed.

I have a log of the convo, and could name names, but that's probably just as tacky as the person's response to me was. So, indeed, and I doubt I'm this important, wants tocomplain about my methods to be fair to people as I can in an entertainer group, well, beat ya to it.

-gets off soap box-

If this action stops someone from inviting me into an entertainer group on Starsider sometime, oh well, I'll live.

p.s. - This was in Coronet, and if anyone has ever been there ,you know how busy it gets. This isn't a case of my kickng someone without a reason , or so I thought what was an ok reason. This place isbusy and so well, there it is.

I have a macro (hehe) that I use that says just that. If I'm leader and a new person joins I hit the macro to let them know I will boot you if you go afk for over 30 minutes etc. (I posted my macro on the dancer boards if you care to look) I send them a polite email stating why I did it and they are welcome to rejoin once back.

As the argument goes, you have the right to play how you wish, they have the right to play how they wish we'll all never agree

*hugs*
