So here I am just plugging right through the musician tree. Then BAAM the mounts come out. What does this mean for entertainers? Well I have been in the Theed cantina all day (the most busy cantina on the server). NOW! I have gotten good xp with my musician xp but this entertainer xp is hard to come by as all of these people that were dying are no longer dying as often. This means limited xp for the entertainer. The requirements need to be lowered as they are already the hardest in the entertainer field to get and now you have made it even harder with making deaths just that much more rare.

Let the players drool about their new cities and mounts for the weekend and you will see that heal xp will be back to the old level on monday...

I agree, I've been working on musician for a little while now and doing pretty good but as soon as mounts and decay came live I hit a complete wall with ent healing xp.....something needs to be done, I've been maxed with musician xp for 2 days now and still need 140,000 healing xp (at least another 2 or 3 days at this pace)

I see no problem in this seeing that all entertainer profs are like the easiest to master. what does the little extra time do

I beg to differ. Through honest at the keys gameplay, there are a lot of professions that are easier to master for the fact that you cannot grind heal xp when you want to. Heal xp is dependent on other players like only a few other sorts of xp.

If you made triple master in two weeks, that was either through macrotaining or really insane hours no one else would put in a game. Easy by this standards doesn't mean easy at all. Using one of these means, any profession is easy.

I can't specifically confirm this but I noticed something last night that had me wondering the same thing. I'll ask the dancer and musician correspondents to check into this on their forums.

I often dance with a friend, Aradia, and there have been times when we are both dancing, and one is getting heal XP (usually me) and the other is not (yes, we're grouped). So there seems to be some bug where sometimes (not all the time) the healing XP is not distributed through the entire group (regardless of which type of entertaining you're doing). Aradia has /bugged this at least twice so it has been reported. This may be what your dancer friend was experiencing. Not sure what may be causing it. No obvious patterns have come to our attention and it seems random... We can stay grouped and 5 different people can come in, and I will get heal XP for them all, and she will get heal XP for 3 of them but not 2. It is very odd.

It may be a problem with your location. I have introduced players to the profession since mounts and player cities went in and they have made it to level III entertainer healing after only two nights playing at the Anchorhead Tavern on the FarStar server.

What we have noticed recently is that if players simply listen to a musician then the dancers in the group DO NOT get healing exp (also goes the same is players just watch the dancers). This was found out yesterday when poor A'Loo was dancing for all she was worth and not gaining any healing whilst the band were gaining loads.

We were all in the same group and until recently we had all gained healing exp regardless of who was being watched or listened to.

Can other players please confirm/deny these findings?
