Now that recursing macros are going to be gone(hopefully), I've seen some people complaining that with the AFK Buffbots going away, there will be too many empty cantinas on the remote planets.

There is a simple solution to this problem.

Add an NPC Entertainer to all non-Player City cantinas.

These NPCs will slowly heal mind wounds/BF for those who watch them.

They will not buff.

As soon as a player Entertainer begins playing, the NPC will "take five" and stop performing until the cantina has been Entertainer free for at least 5-10 min.

This would solve the "empty cantina" problem that will arise as the Devs get rid of more and more Buffbots, and it would create a demand for LIVE entertainers as well because they will be able to heal your BF/mind wounds much faster as well as be able to buff your minds.

Please, post your thoughts and comments on this idea. Be constructive if you must flame me, though. Give reasons why you like/dislike this idea.

I'm hoping a Dev will see this one and give it a little thought at least.

Or, we could not have NPC's in the cantinas, and just let the cantinas slowly heal BF just the way that med centers do with wounds.

Now, the benefit to this plan is that it requires no new coding. You see, they already do this.

Problem solved.

After all, Medics and Entertainers are similar professions in that they help heal and buff.

An NPC entrtainer to heal wounds and BF is a great Idea. As it will not take money away from the main money maker entertainers have.

If you think the medical centers can heal wounds I invite you to get wounded and sit in there, for an hour or two

Also..

If you have never fought with 500BF or have never done 2 missions and received 300BF from it, I suggest you try it out.

Then go sit in the cantina and check how long it takes to heal you without an entertainer.

Server reboot will come first

aaaa 1000bf is my friend

is not that bad... the problems are buffs

and 300bf for 2 mission seem a bit high to me...

generally i get around 250bf in 3 buffing sessions with the jedi

ok about the idea of npc entertainers... i don't like it, is a sort of replacement of entertainers

ok for me the idea of cantinas that help healing but the healing rate should be looower than a novice entertainer...

eg if i'm on dathomir fighting NS should be better to return to corella, go in the cantina. listen a novice entertainer and return to dath than to heal at dathomir cantina...

also i really don't see so much troubles for bf, if you go in a cantina when you finish a buff session probably you will never go over 100 and is not that you need a MM or a MD you just need a novice entertainer to heal you
