hey all im new to the ent prof and I would like to know what the bes/fastest way to get through the ID part of ent..? seems like I could be doing something wrong .....I'm currently in route of getting xp so i can learn ID 3 and if I grind ID on myself i get 50-150 xp and on a person from a group I get 300 but it take 4-5 mins per ID? that seems long to me....when another player was grinding xp for that box on me she was able to knock the time to 2 1/2 mins...is there something I'm doing wrong or is this just the normal fate of the aspiraing master entertainer....

Make sure you ID in one of the ID tents. It will cut your time in half. Only other thing I can tell you is to switch to changing eye color as soon as you can and stick with that the rest of the way up. It's very slow going so you may want to try to convince a friend to sit with you and let you ID them. The company helps alot.

Definatly helps to find a friend. There are a couple of macro's which make things a little easier. You still have to manually change something but saves a bit of clicking.

Yep, I have to concur. The best way to do it is to find a friend that you haven't seen in some time, meet up in an ID salon, and catch up on old times while practicing your ID. The salon halves the timer time, and ID'ing someone else (other than you) doubles the XP per session. Catching up with an old friend... priceless.

I'd have to say the most important thing is to find someone to actually talk to while doing it. I did most of mine (pre-timer) with Kirah, "playing with her makeup kit". It was still a long time, but it goes much quicker if you can make it fun.

See if you can get an aspiring dancer or musician who's actually at their keyboard to be in the main Entertainer troupe, get in with them, and then go over to the ID tent. The performer can perform and getshared Entertainment Healing experience and Music/Dance xp, while you change his/her hair color, eyebrow color, then eye color.
Or, you be really cheesy like me and have an alternate character you can dual-log. Pathetic, but none of my friends are really patient enough to sit there clicking once every 90 seconds...or 3 minutes...to get me all the way through to Master Entertainer. (Much less to Novice Image Designer or further!) And even the few who might be patient enough...I couldn't ask them to waste that much time on me.

Well, of course,we had our own ways of making Roho's homework more fun. 
Then . . . .there was the hair color incident . . . .

Definatly go to an ID tent to grind through the ID branch of Entertainer.
If you can find someone else to grind on that is good. You shouldn't try to grind on someone who is also trying to gind ans while you are in an ID session you cannot ID anyone else.
If there is a Master ID in the tent when you get there you could ask if you can grind on them while they wait for their appointments (if you ask nicely they may well let you)
You can aslo ID yourself while you are performing (start a session on yourself, then press alt to switch viewing mode and your ID screen will disapear, you can then start dancing or playing music while the timer runs down,when the timer runs down stop playing and press alt to see your ID screen OK the changes, rinse and repeat) this way you can grind music and dance while you get your ID xp.

A very useful trick, and one I never even knew about until i was master ID 
Also a handy suggestion, if you don't use accarragm or doc buffs, When you are wating for your action to replenish, do an ID session
