I know a lot of entertainers started off as alts, so i figured this would be a good place to ask. I am a doc/tkm, who had just enough points leftover for novice entertainer. I thought this would be a nice timekill/break from grinding however, I was very wrong. I found that dancing and socializing is a lot more fun and find myself doing that more than actually utilizing my character's elete profs.
Instead of going on and on here, I will just get to the point. I am considering getting an alt so i can master the entertainer profs. How do I go about doing this? Paying an extra $14 is no big deal however, I cannot afford a second computer, so both characters need to be on the same computer. Do I need to buy a second copy of swg? Any help on this would be appreciated

Yes, you need to buy a second copy of swg for the key
And if you were so inclined you could find instructions no the web on how to run multiple instances, but this is not the most appropriate arenato dicussthat kind of thing that I personallynever do

If you're planning on running two instances of SWG on one comp, better make sure it's a newer beefy one. SWG likes using 90%+ resources on older comps such as mine.
/comforts his computer.
No baby, I'm not calling you old. You're matured, like a fine wine.
/pets his computer to make it feel better.

No, I do not necessarily need both characters to be online at the same time.

If you bought a second account, just press the "new account" button in launchpad to register it and create a new login name instead of logging in.
