Thread: Kettemoor Cantina Crawl 2
The first one was a success. Those who attended had a blast.
It's only stands to reason, then, that we'd do it again.

About The Event: The cantina crawls are a series of events that are open to everyone from every server. We gather in a particular cantina at a particular time, get all dressed up, and then 'crawl' from location to location and party hard. Although most of the people who attend are entertainers, we welcome folks from all walks of life to an evening of music, merriment, flirting, fashion and fun.
Any entertainer of any level is welcome to come.
If you can't entertain, come and watch and support entertainment.
When: Saturday, June 25th. Gathering time is 4pm Eastern (1pm Pacific), we move out around 4:30pm. Latecomers are welcome to join wherever we are (use the channel listed below to contact us). Please have patience with us at the beginning of the event, it can take some time to get everything in place before we go a-crawlin.
Where: This time around we will be crawling under the scorching suns ofTatooine in the Kettemoor Galaxy. The starting cantina has not been chosen, this spot will be updated when it has.
Channel: Once logged into Kettemoor, join the ENT chat channel. The command /chat join is broken so you will have to do this the long way unless someone knows a quicker way. Right click on the tab and select modify, and then choose Join Channel. Look for Kettemoor and then the sub heading of Chat. Under that, scroll down the alphabetical list to find ENT. Make sure this channel is visible in your chat window as we'll be using this channel to communicate.
Travel Arrangements: If you will need cash to aid with travel, contact Dathora or Derianadai (preferably before the event starts) and I'll take care of it.
What to Wear:Again, we will have acolor scheme that you are asked to adhere to: Blue and Purple. You can contact me anytime on Kettemoor before the crawl and I'll be happy to give you the names of some good tailors, if you need help with funds, let me know. During the night of the crawl I will try to have some pre-made outfits on hand, but don't bet on a new outfit on that night, I could run out quickly. If you want clothing made, show up a few days prior!
Primary Contact: I’ll be on as Dathora for the event. If I miss a tell, just keep sending it or try sending a tell to the other staff members. I can be reached in game as Dathora and Derianadai, here on these forums as Cendatinea, on SWCity.com as Deri and also via email at [email protected].
Prepare Early: If you're joining us from another server, please make your character on Kettemoor during the days prior to the event so you can start working on entertainer skills, get to know some of the other people that will be at the event, and avoid the last minute character setting up rush. If you'd rather make your character the day of the event, that's ok too. Either way, contact Dathora or Derianadai and I'll help take care of travel, clothing, and instrument needs.
Staff: Ern and Venia are the producers for this event, so please listen when they talk. Theycananswer most of your questions. We will identify choreographers and music directors on the day of the event, these folks will lead the groups. My name is Dathora, and I'm responsible for this mess, so if you've got a question that the others cannot answer, bug me. If you're interested in helping, contact me or post here!
Video Production: Look your best because the cameras will be rolling, and this event will be captured into a video. This video will be put to music and distributed via the web. By coming to this event, you are giving us permission to capture your character on video to use as we see fit. You implicitly choose to indemnify us in the event that this results in your getting famous and having your clothing torn off by rabid hungry fans everywhere you go.

Cendatinea, you should be able to do this by typing /chatroom join chat.ent - this can be shortened to /chatr join chat.ent and I think according to a recent dev post on chatrooms you may even be able to type /join chat.ent though I haven't tried this last form yet. Test those out and see which you like best.
Oh, and I'm tentatively planning on attending your next crawl as well if I can.
