Thread: /diagnose
I dont know how important it is to you, but as a player with both medic and entertainer I got used to /diagnosing my patrons in the cantina. Now without medic I find that what? cant do it anymore.
Entertainers should be able to use the /diagnose as they are just as much healers as medics. Also, the command should be changed so that one can use it while skill animating (dancing or playing, for example, stop you from being able to use it)
I dont think that would be very fitting.. Action and Health wounds would be possible to diagnose, since you justexamine the personand see what the wounds are, but mind wounds and fatigue are things you wouldnt be able todetermine just by looking at someone. All you would be able to know is that they look tired or something. Besides, how hard is it to ask if anyone has mind wounds or fatigue? Furthermore, it doesnt really matter who has and who doesnt have wounds, because you just play and whoever needs to can /listen in.
hmm. my point was that this is already implemented for medics. They see everything: all nine stats as well as battlefatigue, with a simple command. As a medic/entertainer I found it useful, and then when I no longer had medic I missed it. Its not horribly difficult to live without, but it's already in the game and would be one more tool so you dont have to ask about someone's BF...you can see for yourself.
The reason this is fitting because being tired or fatigued in the game is measured in numbers. Unless the audience member role-plays having a high battlefatigue, you're either asking or guessing from ent healing experience. Now what happens when that maxes out? I fyou dont get the gaining experience message, then you have zero feedback on the status of your audience beyond what they tell you.
I agree that /diagnose should be an entertainer's skill as well. And even more importantly, a skill you can use while dancing/playing. Having access to /diagnose doesn't do me much good, because I can't use it while performing.

I agree we are healers and medics can see mind and BF wounds with it. It would also be really nice if we could do it wile dancing/playing. When you're healing an afk player that has tipped you, you want to stay till they are healed, but having to stop to look and see if thier BF is gone is a bit of a pain.
It's not like diagnose is going to over kill the class or anything, it's just a helpfull skill and something we should have.
