I started out as an Twi'lek entertainer/dancer in Theed, Naboo. I am now a master dancer.

Those of you that started out as an entertainer I need you to look very closely at the banner of you starting city entertainer guild hall where your trainers are. Here is why:

1. The banner in front of the theater in Theed is a light blue background with two vertical yellow stripsdown the center of the banner with a narrow dark red/purple strip in the middle. It also has a water mark type design of a ball on stand at with curving lines at the bottom.

2. Now go to the palace and look at the banners over the top steps going in. Looks very much like a dancer in flourish 4/formal dance pose and the ones on each side of it has the water mark design of the one in front of the theater.

2a. Go inside and see if you hear music playing as long as you are in the main building.

2b. When you come out go stright through the two archs and look for the building with the gold ball on each side of the doorway. Note: Only one trainer in that building (Artisan)

3. Go back to the guild hall and look at the lights both day and night (when lit). Notice the color of the glow around the light. ( yellow in front of the Theed theater and a blue-white light by the stage door)

3a. The street lamps are a black/yellow and give off a yellow glow. They can be found in every city on Naboo but Moenia. As you go around Theed note where the lamps are ( in front of cantina door in Theed and Kaarad)

3b. Look for places at night that give off blue-white glow from lights or just general area around something. (You will find lots of blue lights on other worlds some of these will be in front of cantinas also the back corner of the stage, where the walls join, may or may not have a light that glows at night.)

Something to note: After training as an Artisan, at the general public crafting terminal in Theed in back of the med center during the day. I get a bright yellow color during the day while the sun was out off the sloped parts of the terminal. These disappered when I moved away from the terminal and returned to it.

Also the Brawler trainer on one day was human with a bright yellow robe on and next day was a lizard with yellow cast to skin. Yellow may the pointer for Theed enterainers. The blue-white for off Naboo.

Another point as a master dancer, I was not able to register in the theater or hotel in Narmle plus the hotel in Restuss. (I got the message I could not register because I did not have the skill required.)

There it is as short as I could make it. The banners and lights are different for each guild hall on each planet and may be for each city. I know that the banner in front of the theater in Mos Elsely is a dark red/brown back ground with two yellow balls. Smaller over the larger (the twin suns of Tatooine). You may have to perform in the hotels without the stage lights in the back corner.

Again I need your help in finding what each banner and lights are like so we can put the pieces of the puzzle together without using the holocrons.

1. It provides a differnt path depending on where we first start. Based on what color and designs in the banner and the colored lights around the building. The clues there may lead us to the next step in what we need to do to open your FS slot.

Think of it as a non-combat version of the holocron that only the high level combat types can get right now unless you have alot of money to go out and buy one from them.

2. As I can get around again to all the worlds and recheck all the places we can perform. I will post what I find so we can try to find our way to unlocking the FS slot for eaach of us.

3. There has been alot of talk over the past months on the jedi board about how to unlock the FS slot. Some have talked about seeing colored lights when they enter somewhere, heard music in certain areas of the planet anytime they pass that area.

Basically what I am thinking about is what if this might be the Devs way to providing holocron type info to entertainers without having to use holocrons. I think it is something that we all need to take a very close look at. I may be on to something or it may be nothing, but things I am seeing in game leads me to belive that there is something going on that we need to check out.

I think you're reaching there, Maatia. I'd guess that the whole reason that the holocrons exist is that the devs didn't have any other clues in the game regarding the professions to master. They made a base assumption that people would change professions as they grew bored. Instead, people are holding onto their main professions so that even the players who are otherwise close to the FSCS were not going to get the final piece without a nudge in the right direction.

Everything I've seen simply tells me that the people who unlock their force sensitive slot are going to be the people who do their best to experience to length and breadth of the game. This is unfortunate for the role-players who define a character and live that character. It does mean that the first Jedi will be the players who have truly "won" the game by doing everything there is to do and are now ready for the "end game".

It puts the power and presige of being Jedi into the hands of powergamers. Role-players... those who might make the best use of Jedi... are left holding the Holocron, as it were.

I hope this isn't the whole of the path to Jedi. Then again, I believe that mastering numerous professions is part of it, which is unfortunate enough in itself.

Will SWG just become one big light saber wielding, force-jumping FPS? Let's see if that's what the devs have sentenced us to... *sigh*

In looking at all the Theed trainers today, I found things that you should go look at.

1. The base color for Theed is blue and gold. Blue is the base color ( this may mean those of us that started in Theed need to seek out and interface in some way with all areas on worlds that have blue lights on or around them.

Gold/yellow in this case looks to be very much the case of "Follow the yellow brick road or in this case trainers" They will have a yellow cast to the skin up near them. For me it seems to be Artisan, Brawler, Scout and Merchant. For me these all have a yellow cast to the skin. (Very strong in some cases with the Brawler and Scout trainers.

2. Each trainer will have items next to with base colors (lights?) that we may need to follow across the worlds.

Brawler trainer has 2 racks of identical spears next to him. The short spear in middle has a yellow colered head and dark blue cord to hold it in place. To the left of it is a long spear with brown cord. Right spear has green cord.

The Fencer and 2 Hand sword trainers have a crystal bowl with blue liquid in it and a gold rim around the top, There are items on each side of the bowl giving a black on left and orange/yellow color on right.

The only trainer I saw outside without items next to him was the medic trainer. He was wearing blue and white.

But go to Theed and have a look around for yourself and draw your own ideas. But the Devs may have handed us how to find our way and we have just not been looking in the right places.

I don't completely understand your line of thinking, so you will have to better define what you are looking for.

Right now I'm tanding outside the theater in Mos Entha on Tatooine. The banners look to have a light brown background with a slighlty darker stripe down the middle going from top to bottom. The foreground is a large, bright yellow, disc near the top of the banner. A second yellow disc, smaller then the top, is near the center.

The lights at the theater are fairly close to an incandescent glow, a light golden yellow, very close to a white.

Most, if not all the lights around town are like this from what I can see.

An additional development, a building just north of the Mos Entha, an apparent Imperial owned building, has the same lights. Does this, in your book, mean that I would have to become an Imperial to unlock my force slot?
