ok first a little background...my main character is a CH/swordsman on corbantis, but ive made a few entertainers on other serversto break the monotony. after playing i realized that being an entertainer is rough...unless you take up a combat classto make money. also, you guys have to deal with all the morons on every server. i blocked more people in 1 hour of entertaining than i have in 3 months of ch/swordsman-ing.

on my main i started talking to entertainers while healing BF (before i just went afk and then tipped and said bye), and i met another guy whos main was a swordsman also, and i tipped him 5k just because he was having the same hard time i was entertaining.

so to the point, whats the most youve ever been tipped playing in a cantina, and is your entertainer your main character?

The most I have ever been tipped is 15k, this is my main, though it has combat skills

I've gotten 5k tips in public cantinas every now and then. Thank you, wealthy patrons!

My biggest tip was 35k from a player who was quitting. She came into the cantina and I greeted her, as I do most people who do. She smiled so I smiled back and asked how her day was going. That was about the extent of our conversation though. When she left, she tipped me 25k. I sent her a tell saying, "hey, that was a lot of credits, do you need some of this back?!" She said, "you're right, it is!" and sent me another 10k. I nearly fainted onto my keyboard.

She then explained that she was quitting. She was spreading out her wealth to those who were nice to her before she shut everything down. I'm a sentimental sap so whenever I'm buying things (okay clothes, mostly always clothes!), I always make sure that there's 35k left over, because it's not really mine.

I started up a second char on a different server to try out being an entertainer... highest I've got is a 500 credit tip. Of course, I'm a male dancer...

I've received two 100K tips, each from different patrons. One was a roleplayer, one wasn't, but both seemed to appreciate someone friendly to talk/RP with. In one case my dancer was in a remote location and in another she wasn't.

It was interesting because she doesn't flirt/lick/grope/strip etc, she's just friendly.

One thing that having a little money allows my dancer to do is take care of the noobs a little better. If she sees a noob dancer wearing the burlap bag and dancing basic1 or 2, that dancer's going to get a nice tip to help with her wardrobe.

I've gotten tips anywhere from credits to 20,000....to date that is the biggest

A friend and I were each tipped 50K on the same night by one very generous Master Doctor (Zeak) . He asked how much usual tips were, and we just said that he should tip whatever he felt like lol.

Other than that, I've had a few 10K tips while playing in bands at various parties, one of which was a party for a new PA .

For music, the best tip I've recieved is 2000, dancing I've gotten 500. The best tip ever, for a huge fireworks display was 150,000 credits.

The most I've ever been tipped is 5k. I was the only ent around and my friends where all asking me to hurry up. I stayed to heal a guy up because he was in rough shape, after he thanked me for staying and tipped me.

The most I've ever tipped is 100k. I have a master commando/CH on a diffrent server and has far more money then I can spend ( no you can't have it ) I found a novice dancer, it was her first week and was having a hard time. I sure made her day and the nice /tell she sent me made mine so it was worth it ( nothing dirty just a very nice thank you )

I wish more ppl would tip even if it's only 50 or 100 cr. I do far less healing as a medic and get way more tips for it

Most I've been tipped at any one time was 10k but I also got gifts, jewelry, a house, clothes, music instruments, etc.

And yes, Entertainer is my main profession.

The most I was ever tipped as a master dancer was 350k. Yes, all from the same person. We started talking, and he found out we were trying to raise money for our PA hall, and started tipping me in increments of 20k to 50k. Before I knew it, I had all the money we needed, and a friend for life. The best part is that he was Imperial, and knew I was Rebel, and did it anyway. It remains the nicest thing I've ever had one person do for me (if you happen to be reading this, thank you Apake). I'm now a master image designer, and needless to say, his makeovers are whenever he wants and always free!
