Only sounds like a guitar on StarWars1, which, goddess willing, you hopefully won't have to play. The rest of the time it sounds like a violin. And it's rather cheesy-sounding, in my never-humble opinion, on Jazz, which I love on the horns and perscussion. Even that damned keyboard sounds ok on Jazz! I've heard it sounds awful on Virtuoso, too, though I've never been both a Master Entertainer and Master Musician at the same time. (I like to do too much!) But the Mandoviol is my favorite thing to play for Folk, Ballad, Ceremonial and Waltz.
