How about loading up some "holiday" songs to play in the cantina. Maybe you have to have a certain set of skills, maybe you need a certain number of members in the group with a pre-requisite skill. Have it available through the holidays, then get rid of it until next year. Maybe have a flourish that allows a dancer to whip out mistletoe and hold it over their patron's head and plant a kiss on them.

Just thinking out loud. Would be nice to see something in-game that isn't totally Star Wars cannon, isn't too far out of the context of the game, yet acknowledges the real-world time of year. change it up based on holidays/seasons.

Holiday or not (might be nice) but throw in some new songs once in a while. Killing a kimogilla and fighting pvp is a new experience each time. Musicians are STUCK playing and dancing the same things night after night.
