Im trying to master entertainer but im only getting 4xp max after a flourish on the musician. how do I increase the xp? will grouping give more xp? do i need to upgrade to a fizz instrument to get more xp?

Grouping with other musiciansand/or dancers will increase your experience.

Upgrading your instrument to the best one you can use will increase your experience.

More people listening to you will also increase your experience.

People cheering will also give a short increase in your experience.

1) Play your highest song

2) Play your highest instrument

3) Do 2 flourishes in a 10 second window. One flourish might give you 4 exp. Two will give you 8 exp. Three will not give you 12 exp.

4) If you want to save action from all the flourishes, let the exp tick down after you do your two flourishes (it'll go from 8 to 7 to 6 to 5, etc...). If you aren't concerned about action (buffs or medics healing), just do 2 flourishes every 10 seconds.

Craft Insturments.

Yes as Foggy has stated, craft instruments. I wasn't getting much xp at all with a group and flourishes, but once I bought some metal and a few crafting tools I just grinded away at sitlehorns and was earning about 80 some xp per instrument in practice mode. And with 3 crafting tools it didn't take long to get all the music xp I needed.

If your rich?

Craft intruments, the more resources used the more XP granted at a rate of about 2XP per 1 unit resource.

If your poor?

Roleplay a lenthy drama with another entertainer or with a "regular". If you do it right the drama will take much more time then getting the XP you need, and could go on for months. =)

To be honest, the best xp I've ever gotten (This was dance xp, but musician xp goes along the same lines) was at a big player run event. Had probably 50-100 people watching.

Be patient!!!!!!!!! It takes a lot of time.

well i did the math...at 94xp per item in practice...45units metal per slitherhorn...i get 1400xp per min ,84Kxp per hour ...now it takes 1.6mill XP ,once you become novice musician,to climb the 2 music tiers..so thats roughly 13k instruments (may be less when i find out about higher skill instruments) at 45units per itemcoming to about 580K metal and 16hours grinding with a 10tool macro. then u still gotta play for the healing XP...i will research on how to best earn that...at least Master doc had TUMBLERS..which gained me 54K an hour.,, **edit** those HOLOs.

Not quite so bad but close... It takes 1.3 million xp.

I have been a Master to long and not paid attention to the changing times it would seem. I didn't know that you could make musician xp from grinding out instruments.

but why grind resources...it costs too much..just go afk when in bed..or when u leave...but i was actually thinking of grinind..but WAYY TO much to do...i'll use it when im in a hurry or close to a skill and need to leave copmuter.
