Ok, so I'm a bit new to all of the Doctor stuff, but I thought I would give it a try as something different. I am currently 0200 as a Doctor and wanted to know at what point I will be able to buff. I am not too worried about the buffs being the best, and I have purchased a droid which has a med use of 110. Am I able to buff myselfand others yet?, do I need to use my droid, or can i buff without it? I'm assuming I won't be able to use my droid for a while yet as my Med use is 55 I think.
If anyone is able to let me know the answers to these I would appreciate it.

Welcome to the profession. You do get the /healenhance command at 0200, but you don't get the ability to craft enhance packs until you climb up the first box of the last branch. Of course, you can always buy packs, but you will have to be very careful when buying packs to be sure that the medicine use is low enough to match your current ability. Most of the packs you will see are enhance D packs which start out with medicine use of something > 90 (master doctor required). They are easily experimented down to 89, but I have personally never tried to experiment them all the way down to 50ish.
Find a master doctor on your server and ask him to create some packs specifically for you and you shouldn't go too far wrong (send me an email if you are on Flurry and I can set you up in a day or so).
As to the use of the medical droid, you can either buff in the medical center or you will have to have your medical droid out (like the doctors outside the starports). Your medical droid will give you a 10% boost to the enhancement numbers, so they are worth using.
A couple other items: Look into bivoli tempari to further boost your enhancements, and please read the FAQs in the stickies on top to get a feel for the formulas involved in buff pack creation and usage. They are very well done.

Hi all...
as a master dancer and musician i know that i can buff mind, will and focus.
Now i do have a problem, I have 2 caracthers and I play with both and I don't do afk playing....but and there's always a but, and there's always a but(lol) my other caracther is a fighter so I buff myself, what is hard running 2 accounts at the same time and guild trying to organize hunt and stuff. I have seen in many cantinas entertainers buffing dance and music combine while afk, so i know that a macro existes for this....my question is does anyone out there knows about this macro so when i'm actually trying to buff myself and the other guild member i can combine the 2 as if i was afk (without being).
I do know how to make seperate macros, so no problems there, i just need to join them and make them last the 5 mins required for the buff.
Thanks for all the help. LoonXXXX

Log on, join your guild group, start dancing, run your dance macro. When finished, start music, run your music macro. When done, logout and enjoy your play with your fighter.
If you're not afk, you shouldn't have a problem starting each buff individually. Besides... when buffing a large group for a guild hunt, you don't want a timer running, or else everyone won't receive the full buff. Not everyone starts watching or listening when you tell them to. This way, you can make sure everyone has the full buff, then start the next phase.
One just has to wonder... If you're not AFK, why would you want to appear that you were with a bot macro?

No I don't wanna do it afk but my comp is not the best at running to compies making it hard to switch, but if that is the only way so be it.

Fellow doctors;
I have been in space for the last three months. Guess what, I tried to buff myself a minute ago and "NO JOY". I am not clear as to how this works now with the CU in place. Some questions;
1) Can I still buff myself and others?
2) How do I buff?
3) Do I still need buff packs, and if so where do I get them. My old packs have been changed and appear not to work.
Is there a place I can go to learn the "in's and out's" of the new Doctor profession?
Any help would be appreciated.

I guess there is no real help with the buffing issue. I think a "respec" of my master doctor is in order.
