Before I start, please do not discuss pro's and con's of AFK or ATK on this thread. I do not want this thread hi-jacked or locked.

I am asking for any entertainers that play on the Shadowfire server that play in the later evening hours i.e after 10pm pacific time. If you are ATK and do entertainer buffs (or are they now called inspiration) please let me know where you can be found and approximate times that you are usually on. Everyone is always talking about how easy it is to find ATK entertainers at all hours and I just can't find any. Please take this post seriously and do not debate afk or atk. I really need to find people on so that I can get my buffs. The CURB is hard enough for me to adjust to..I need all the help I can get. You can either post here or send me an e-mail to Zlim on Shadowfire. Thanks!!!

Hello Zlim,

yes there are ATK entertainer on Shadowfire, but I wont lie to you. Their numbers are shrinking almost weekly. While about 5 months ago it was not rare to have full group of 20 ATK entertainers having a wild party, now it's hard to just fill up a group of 8

I wont get in to the reasons of why, because same as you I don't wish for this tread to get ugly.

Unfortunately I do not play the hours you mentioned, I'm central time zone and have to get up for work at ungodly hour of 3am.

However to help you look here are few hints:

*Shadowfire Galaxy Forum has a ATK entertainers "sticky", take a look at it and see if any of them play the hours you play.

*Also don't be shy to hop in to ent chat channel and ask.

Of course not everyone reads forums and/or uses ent channel.

*Another thing to keep in mind, the Inspiration Buffs are same regardless if given by master or novice. The reason I'm mentioning it is because I have seen too many times young ATK entertainers to just give up and quit because they felt totally ignored by customers.

Best thing I can tell you is, look around you and see if you can befriend one who plays in your hours. I know people who took the time to get to know me at least a little, never had problems getting me to travel to their location whenever needed.

Good luck and thank you so much for taking the time to look for ATK entertainers

Zlim, Deli'ah is right when she says our numbers have dwindled. And very few entertainers are using the ent chat channel. I'm not certain if it's because they don't know about it or if they just don't want to monitor another area on their screen. I used to play your "night owl" times as well but my schedule changed. I'd take a look at the ATK listing on the Shadowfire forum and add those names to your friends list - even if they aren't on during your normal hours. Then just try to actively "recruit" some entertainers that you can add to your friends list. There have been a number of young entertainers on Shadowfire recently but they often disappear after just a few days and I'm certain part of that is because they get discouraged.
When you meet a new entertainer (or even an older one :smileywink be sure to tell them about the ent channel and about the ATK thread on the forums. With a bit of work from all of us, we can rebuild a thriving entertainer population on Shadowfire.

I forgot to add... keep in mind that any entertainer who does play at "night owl hours" is really going to need some help. Entertainers cannot advance without healing someone. If you think it's hard for you to find a live entertainer, let me tell you trying to get someone with mind wounds to come to where I was performing and actually watch me dance at 2:00am Pacific Time was very nearly impossible. So when you do run across an entertainer that's on late at night be sure to let all your combat mates know that there's someone there that needs to heal their mind wounds. You'll make an entertainer very very happy.

Thank you both for responding. I looked at the sticky list for shadowfire, and though there weren't many, it is a good idea to add them to my friends list as you mentioned. I hope to bump into both of you sometime while playing. I would much rather tip and give healing xp to kind and friendly people then less couteous people. I used to take alot of wounds and bf, and though I am not entirely sure how its works now, I am sure I will continue to be a good source for healing xp.

If there are any other entertainers on Shadowfire, I would love to hear from you and the places you hang out. The more the merrier.

Not many of the Shadowfire entertainers post on the forums. Lately our little band of regulars has been hanging out in Bestine but now that the cantina on the Wookiee homeworld has been fixed we'll be heading there as well. My schedule is a bit hectic at the moment but once it settles down I'll be starting up regular "mini-crawls" where entertainers travel to as many cantinas as possible. I'll also try to encourage others to do the same so we can cover more times. This helps us get the word out about the Ent channel and helps us find all those struggling newer entertainers who might need a hand.

As I meet more entertainers I'll try to get them to add their names to the ATK sticky. Tabitha is gone now but we might be able to revive that thread to keep it updated.

Mind wounds are no more and if you can get BF just from fighting I sure haven't been able to figure out how. From what I can tell, you only get BF when you have to eject from your ship in space or when you clone and haven't stored your data at the facility. But entertainers also get healing xp from you for the inspiration buff so that helps a bit as well.
