a lot of the quests on kashyyyk involve fighting level 76-81 mobs, necrosis is 92... no way i'd even hit him at 61...

plus with all the level 80's running around all the 'new' content that may come is going to be for their level not 61 =P

As a Master Entertainer with Music Knowledge 4, I am above CL 61. Using Breath of Heaven and Stim D's, I have very little trouble keeping up with my CL80 groupmates. The only problem of being lower level for me is in soloing high level content. However, as a person who takes part in a group-friendly profession like Entertainer, I think it's reasonable for me to ask help in trying to take down a rancor or an Ulsorn'is.

And fyi, because of the CL difference problems, even being considered a level 80 in a group with other 80's, Nekrosis still hits everyone for at least 2300 per hit through improved center of being. Frustrating as heck,so we'll see if they tone down the damage multiplier to something reasonable.

So it sounds like what you're saying is you can't be entertainer and take high level content solo. Is that your concern? If so you're right but that was pretty much a problem for entertainers even before the CU. As a level 61 if you group with a level 80 combatant, you essentially also become level 80. So the key to being able to enjoy entertainer and high level content is simply to find a fun group that you can join with.

The quest that finishes in the Geo Cave also starts on Kashyyk and a lot of double combat profs with CL 80haven't succeeded in completing the quest. There werequite a few stunned people when I pulled out my new mount in the Labor Outpost while wearing my Master Dancer tag

One of the big points of the CU was to stop the soloing of high level content and require coordinated groups. If what you are saying is you can't solo high level content then SWG is now the wrong game for you.
