I was playing last night and made a delivery from Mos Entha to Bestine. Bestine was more alive then Mos Entha, so I decided to stay.

I start working on my Musician skills in the Cantina there in Bestine and here is my question...

The Bartender gives a mission to take a toy to a family out of town. The journey wasn't too hard ...I did it twice. One time I found my "contact" standing in the desert and the other time she was at the Rebel Outpost. As I walked up, she asked me if I was the Bartendar's friend....but then everytime I tried to "converse" she told me she didn't have time to chat.

Has anyone else done this mission? What am I missing? Faction? or is it bugged? or what?

Sounds like you're describing a delivery quest. You got a blue waypoint instead of the orange kind, and you probably have the toy in your inventory, correct?

Try giving the toy to the end-point NPC. Call up your inventory, drag it to the NPC and drop it on the NPC. This is how crafting missions work. You craft the item, take it to the NPC and drop it on the NPC. I'll wager that your quest wants you to do the same thing in order to finish it.

thanks for the reply, I hadn't paid attentiont to the different color arrows...but I think you're right, it was blue.

However, the thought of handing over the toy did come to mind last night and I checked my inventory....no toy.

I thought it might be like some of the missions you get from the terminal of "bring this to so-and-so". Nothing is in my inventory then and the recipient just says thank you as soon as I converse.

I may try it again tonight, but before I do I may ask the "regulars" in the cantina if they've done it. Maybe it is bugged and the toy doesn't appear in inventory.
