First I'm talking about Mind damage, which is the white stuff in your mind pool bar, not mind wounds which is the black stuff in the mind pool bar.

Entertainers have the ability to heal mind wounds

Nobody has the ability to heal mind damage at the moment. which means the medic/doctor can keep your entire group at full health, and full action, but as soon as the Tanks, who are notoriously low in mind pool anyway, drop from lack of mind pool, the enemy will slowly work their way through to wipe the group.

I think they should give entertainers the ability to do something like a war drum or something to encourage/inspire the group on, regenerating mind damage.

I know some of you plan on never setting foot out in the wilds because it would not further your career as an entertainer. But there are those of us who need you in the field, and if you have more skills to do the job....

I agree also, you should read my previous post "Make entertainers more entertaining".

I did the same post over on the medic forum and it's getting a bit spicey, seems a few of the medics don't think an entertainer should be at the front line. "not their place". As I see I have a few people in agreeance here, perhaps you could swing by and put in some good words. If we keep the topic fresh and provide some good feedback for the Dev's maybe we'll see a Swor-dancer or something up on the front line inspireing our fighters on.

Oh, I put a similar post over on Brawlers to, to see what they thought. Guess what, they're oblivious

excellent idea . Here comes the but though ...

Not many things attack the head in my group of friends so far, usually its the body or legs (red and green bar respectively). When it does happen we've not been KO'd or killed because of it, but I'm sure it will happen as we gain more experience and meet creatures & peoplewith more intelligence.

But when you think about it, soothing the mind (so that it can recover quicker) on the battlefield ain't exactly gonna happen unless you're chillin out in a camp free of enemy fire or attack, and even then on the front I don't think you're going to recover lost concentrationtoo easily. How can you chill out and calm down when you aren't, and shouldn't, feel safe? For the same reason Battle Fatigue only works in a hotel or cantina, I don't think mind damage should be healable outside of a camp (or cantina or hotel...maybe in town would be okay).

In other words, I'm all for the idea ofEntertainers and their PrestigeProfessions gaining the ability to healmind damage, but only if it's limited like BF is (even though I wish BF could be healed in a camp I don't think it's right for the saem reasons I mentioned above...you're on the battle field, it's not safe...).
