Thread: Musical Enhancement CA problem (now identified!)

I created an outfit for an entertainer with the intent of maxing bonuses for the two new skills, musical enhancement and dancing enhancement.
I used a pair of pants with +16 to each skill, a converted BE'ed garment.
I crafted a pair of uniform boots and added a +4 dancing enhancement CA and a +5 musical enhancement CA.
I crafted a pair of link steel reinforced gloves and added a +5dancing enhancement CA and a +5 musical enhancement CA.
When I equip these garments, I get (as expected) Dancing Enhancement +0/+25. This is correct.
However, I get two entries in my "My Skill Mods" table for Musical Enhancement, one with +0/+5 and the other with +0/+21. This is not correct. It appears that the mod on the gloves stacks with the mod on the pants, but the mod on the boots does not.
I have bugged this in game, and submitted a ticket to hopefully get it fixed, but I thought I should post it here too.

Well, I worked out why these mods don't stack sometimes. The problem lies in the fact that for each type (dancer or musician) there were two kinds of mods that were converted to the new enhancement mods.
So, for dancer, "wound healing (dancing)" mods were converted to dancing enhancement mods. Additionally, "dancing mind enhancement" mods were also converted to dancing enhancement mods. These two don't stack with each other. and only the former stacks with the skill of the same name obtained through training skill boxes.
This also explains the problem with the dancer's leotard: the garment originally had +5 to wound healing (dancing) and +5 to dancing mind enhancement. Both of these were converted to separate +5 dancing enhancement mods, as seen on the converted garment.
I have also bugged this (ticket 3929079) and posted it to the issues thread for publish 20.
