Quick comments:
Good Guide
Audition - always two flourishes, change song (which may be the same song you are already playing) and two more flourishes.
Advertising - the people have to listen directly to you (not just the group you are in). I believe they also had to /stoplisten to the previous musician (can anyone confirm?)
All Gigs - rating numbers have been removed so it is just to get them "satisfied"
- the /conv trick - stand on stage and use /conv to speak to them. not all audience members have useful info - some are quite funny tho - "dancers" and "spaced out" = afk???
Final reward - make clear it is 400,000 music or dance xp and actually need a tier 4 box in relevant xp to get a high enough cap.

People do not need to /stopl the previous performer UNLESS the previous performer is in the samne group as the new one. It moves to the new target group song.

Its been so long since I was at these levels. I know you can bank the 900K while possesing a tier 3 box working towards a 4. Caps are based on the XP needed for the next box, and as there is nothing higher than a tier 4 it doesn't go up when you get one. Now the question is.....can you bank enough at tier 2 working on 3? As the xp needed is 400K and the tier 3/4 bank is 900K, I would think the tier 2/3 is at least 450K.
I seem to recall a game guide that came out pre launch that said Music tier 4 boxes would cost 450K each. It seems as tho the "bank" xp amount is based on that and was never changed. I don't own this book or I'd look as to what the other xp boxes cost and try to figure out the XP bankfrom there.

Can anyone explain to me why Kyorlana got one-starred? It doesn't make any sense...
*gives 5 star for making a good post and guide*
Also, after reading through your guide, I have one thing to add. There was a post here yesterday that said that though you should do some of the flourishes that the audience wants to see/hear and the dances/music that they want to see/hear, you shouldn't restrict yourself ONLY to those. You should do about half ones they want to hear, and the other half just other ones. You will get a higher score for doing this than just what they want. Of course, you should never do the ones they don't want to see/hear.

I'll be honest I hadn't checked out cap levels (not bothering with FS so didn't need to watch them). I based the tier 4 requirement on the fact that the normal cap is twice the next box, then forgot that and thought it was twice the current box (oops) so said tier 4 when I should have said tier 3 (tier 3 requirement is 175k so tier 2 won't reach, tier 4 needs 225k so should reach 450k). If the music caps are higher multiples or based on old requirements then it may be possible at a lower level. But to be honest I suspect most people would be doing all of musician and so would want to learn all of the songs so they can get xp faster.
If anyone has hard data on current caps they could confirm the actual tier requirement.

I have a question.... if I finish the quest before I have the 400k XP what happens? Do I miss out on it?

NancyJ, you get given the schematic but when you go to learn it (just like any WS/Tailor schem) and it checks you have the required skill (Novice Musician) it also checks for xp, It then asks to confirm you wish to trade in the xp to learn the schem.
The only thing I don't know but hope works is if you have a full inventory when you complete the quest(I don't suggest anyone try testing that on live - at some point I'll have another TC toon finish the quest and will test it then, although having 80 items in my inventory on TC might void that test!)
