Thread: Mind Buffs Is it hard to do??
No, it's not hard to do. I've given lots of will/focus buffs, personally, and seen lots of mind buffs. Maybe it's just your server or the places you frequent.
Here's how it works for the targeted mind or will/focus buff:
The entertainer begins performing.
You listen or watch the entertainer as appropriate.
The entertainer targets you and does a /setperform.
The entertainer flourishes for about 10 minutes (for a master giving a full buff, shorter is allowable for a less skilled performer because their buff is smaller).
You do a /stoplisten or /stopwatch as appropriate.
Voila! You are buffed.
The ability to buff begins at novice dancer or musician and increases as the performer climbs the technique line. Master musician/dancer gives the maximum buff achievable without using some sort of bonus to the mind enhancement skill.

Why?
The macro AFKlers surrender after short time their profession and the entertainers, who like the profession, are driven out of the the cantinas, and a lot of them surrender too, because they are frustrated.
I for my person never dance or dancedin a cantina where AFK zombies tumble around.
I hear the sound of many posts in this forum: " AFKis good, I can find someone to heal me easyer"
So this people got what they wished: "NPC" entertainers. Now they can deal with this and realy search for someone who can give the valuable mindbuffs.
I am sorry for the victims (and myself), who wished alive cantinas and the vibes of a place, where people hook up, relax,talk and perhapsfight.
