In the late mornings when I play my artisan and marksman, there is no one on. I can understand ignoring the continual AFKer's but in the wee hours finding a place to heal and entertain has forced me to consider startingone of theprofessions so there would be someone around. I don't see a problem ignoring the AFK dancers and musicians but if they are the only ones you can find or face an empty cantina would it not be alright to AFK your dancer so some healing can happen.

It's a long slippery slope, and we're fast sliding down it.

In the beginning, there was entertainers. They would sing and dance and play music. They tried synchronized dancing, dancing in lines, arranging the musicians here, and the dancers there, always looking for something that looked good, playing something that sounded good. The cantinas were packed and hopping places. People came, and they saw it was good.

Then someone figured out they could just let their macro do all the work for them. So they started the macro and left. At first, people saw this, and were amused by it, but mostly ignored it.

However, little by little, other people started doing the same thing. They would leave their macro running when they were not there. People that might have otherwise been playing and having fun discovered another way and started using it.

The few that remained discovered they were alone in a crowded cantina. They would sit and do the same dance over and over again, playing the same music over and over again, but in the end it was not fun to just try and entertain themselves. Those that came to watch came silently, watched silently, and left silently. Nobody saw it was good, because they were all AFK.

As the macros became masters, the players lost interest, and visited the cantina rarely, possibly even leaving the profession to move on to other things. The once crowded cantinas now lay truly empty.

Inside my heart is breaking, my make-up may be flaking
But my smile still stays on
My soul is painted like the wings of butterflies
Fairytales of yesterday will grow but never die
I can fly - my friends
