Looking to hire Entertainers, preferably Master Musicians and Dancers, for fulltime employment at the XYON Cantina.

The XYON Cantinais located in the city of XYON, Naboo, Chilastra Server,in a high customer traffic area south of Kadaara and east of Keren. XYON is a Rebel town, but we welcome Covert Imps who behave themselves. A substantial militia has been formed to keep the peace so holster your weapons, curb your pets, and watch what you say. Overt Imps are shot on sight, so don't even think of riding into town as one. XYON is listed on the Global Map. A shuttleport is available nearby. We also have a wide variety of amenities avilable such as trainers and Master-level Merchant tents. Our city is a Master Planned Community with an esthetically pleasing layout. Interested parties can also apply for citizenship.

These are paid positions. Compensation begins at 500cr per week. You keep all tips and other gratuities. Presently, there are6 positions available, 2 Dancers and 4 Musicians. You will be required to work in the Cantina for a minimum of2 hours a day and the time must be announced. Online time of day is flexible and negotiable. AFKs are acceptable, but live Entertainers make more tips. Your online status will be checked daily. Buff vendors are available in the Cantina, and musical instruments are also sold there. XYON Cantina is a Right To Work establishment and an Equal Opportunity Employer.

If you are interested in a position, you may apply by either responding to this thread or send an ingame email to YARAS.

Far be it for me to say anything but you may not be aware that in entertainment circles 'XC' stands for 'Xtra Cheap'.. this moniker your entire PA has acquired because too manyXC patrons to the regular cantinas have availed themselves of the healing services and left without tipping or even saying thank you!

Oh of course there are those of you who will rant and say 'I always tip'! that may be true, some of you do.. but XC still has that reputation because of all those in your PA who didn't and still don't..

sorry to be the bearer of such tidings

Thanks for the enlightenment, Torchsinger.

I wasn't aware of such a reputation aquired by XC members in the Entertainment Community. I amgreatly saddened by this, as I haverepeatedly sent the message to XC members to alwaystip Healers for their services. Alas, I cannot control the actions of all members of our PA. But I can assure you that there are many members who do compensate healers on a regular basis...myself included.

On behalf of the Xyon Core PA, I offer my deepest apologies. I will relay this news to the highest levels of command. In fact, I will make it a point of agenda at the next Board Of Directors meeting this coming Wednesday. I will make a proposal that tipping for healing will be added as a reguirement for all XC members under the Rules Of Conduct in our PA Charter.

I have also recieved some emails from some Entertainers that question our compensation rates for employment. I realize that it is very low, but non-PA customer traffic in our city is quite high right now. I thought that tips would more than compensate for the low rate of pay. Should I offer more? Also, we would be interested in hiring established Bands on an as-needed basis, but I am unsure of the going rates. Make me an offer, we'll work something out.

First off let me say that I salute you for being wiseenought to acknowledge that aproblem exists.. your reply was both brave and very mature!

As for how much you should offer a band or single entertainers I can not say having retired from the business but I can make a suggestion.. if I were in your position I would frequent the regular cantina's and send mails to all those entertainers I saw AFK offering to pay them for going AFK in your cantina.. (if they go afk there they come back online there and perhaps they will stay there In my mail I wouldstresstheabundance of healing XP to be gained by those entertainers who play in your cantina (if you look at the entertainer trees you will see that the profession is equal parts of music (or dance) XP and HEALING XP.. the music or dancing xp is easy to acquire but healing xp is much more difficult and many in the profession can't make master due to the lack of this necessary skill.. Only yesterday Landren was complaining to me the difficulty he was having acquiring healing XP) Of course you may have to lean on your PA members to bring their mind wounds home with them or have members willing to 'die' for the cause so to speak.. but that is a crucial point for anyone wishing to aspire to the Master level..

Just my suggestions and again my thanks for your maturity in apologizing for those few of your PA members who never bothered to thank the entertainers who have healed them in the past
