I'm dying to play the mandeviol! Dying I tell you! But it means, with my limited skill points, giving up 4040 dance to get master entertainer, and then music knowledge 3 - to get waltz, which is my favorite, except maybe ceremonial, and .... not fond of Jazz. But I'll lose the wiggly dance and buffs, which are also some of my favorite things.... I'm so torn, it's a quandary!

Any advice?

Oof. That is a rough choice. If you really, really want Waltz, then yeah, go for it! I love the Chidinkalu Horn, and Ballad, and the Bandfill, so I think that's a nice place to be if you like those things, too. I actually like Jazz on the second horns and percussion, which is what I play most, but I'm looking forward to hitting Master Enetertainer (for the 3rd time!) at some point and being able to play Ballad on the Mandoviol. I think I love that best of all, tied with Ceremonial on the Mandoviol.

Just hit master entertainer tonight. What really blew me away was SW1 on the mandeviol!! It sounds sooo cool that way. I can't wait to try out all the bells and whistles, but I had to log for bed... I think formal 2 will probably be beautiful - once they fix the base dance so I don't look like I'm flailing around stage to everyone but myself.

Unless they've changed it since I last Mastered Entertainer (about a month and a half ago, then had to drop it again), Formal2 is absolutely no different than Formal. You just get more XP for doing it. I couldn't figure out a way to keep myself from looking like a washed up ballet teacher who's been hitting the bottle between students. The flourishes are the same. Too bad there's not a distinction between the jazz dancing and the ballet. /sigh

the mandeviol isn't all that great to play its flourishs are they type you would see at a rock consert while the song you are playing is jazz or classic

I got a red low cut top with black shoulders and red ribbed pants with black ribbing. I am ready to ROCK! I feel so Britney (except she can't sing... or play an instrument...)

I had that problem too, but not the way you encountered it. I want to be a Master Dancer along with my other skills, but I love my Medic skills for the utility of it and I don't have enough sps to make it to master even if I did.

I wish that, just the entertainer classes, could get bonus skill points for going total entertainer so they could master all the entertainment lines. But that will prolly happen about the time pigs really do fly

I know I would never give up my Mandovil, I would dump my musician skills before losing it, so I hope you have fun with it. I play mine everytime I play Durney
