Thread: Change Master Entertainer? Just an idea.

I think what they should do is rework the Master Entertainer box. Give all the specific things (dances, songs, etc.) from Master Entertainer to the Novice Dancer/Musician/ID and give the Master Entertainer its own identity. My suggestions

1. Reduced travel fees. You are the in-flight entertainment.

2. Ability to craft speakers, microphones, and other cantina decorations. Maybe also salon chairs, hair driers, etc. to allow ID’s to set up salons.

3. Give Master Entertainers a new skill that allows them to shut people up in buildings they have admin rights to. It would act like an area /ignore, and keep people from heckling and disrupting performances in theatres and cantinas. Yes you can ban them, but they can still shout from outside and disrupt things.

Just my 2 credits.

My thoughts echo C's in that I would dump master Entertainer if they did what you propose. And I am proud of my Master Entertainer tag.

A Master Musician or Master Dancer could be just as, if not more effective at that and they would want to get the reduced fees too.

I like this idea quite a bit, but then you might be steping on the Artisan/Architects toes.

This too is a good idea, but unfortunately, i think to many people would use this skill to grief people, just to "throw around thier weight". Not that everyone would, but there would be a handfull, always are

Over all excellent ideas, I just think they would have serious repercussions if implemented.

If they did this I would drop Master Ent.

I got Master Entertainer for two reasons. #1 is that my character is a Dancer. She's supposed to be one of the best Dancers in the universe. To do that IMO she needs to know every variant of every dance. That means formal2 and footloose2. Not to mention, those variants look better than the others in those dances (as base dances). #2 is the Mandoviolin and Ceremonial. I'll never have the skill points to get any of the musician songs/instruments, so this makes me at least viable musically.

If they took those things away from M.E. I would have no reason to keep it, and I would summarily drop the ID and music lines from Ent and use them on something more worthwhile, like carbine skills.

I like ADDING to our abilities, but not taking away from them.

I would also like to see the devs reward those who are commited professionals. After they have stayed in that profession - it LOCKS IN, freeing up those skill points (or half) to be used on other skills.

Too much of this game REQUIRES commited professionals but ENCOURAGES profession surfing.
