Thread: Twi'leks! Are we not the dev's choice for entertainers?

I am a twi'lek but our stamina is terrible. Why is this Devs? Are we not the race and profession of choice on character creation for entertainers? Why is our stamina so terrible? Humans have it so much more easier bumping their stamina up enough to were they dont need healed at all. Flourish all day long. Comments?

There are pros and cons to every race. Your race has a built in bonus to entertaining, humans have better possibilities for secondary stats. There is no "one race designed for entertainment", only a multitude of choices, each with its own merit.

I beg to differ. Check the character creation and the bonus stats for each class. You will see Twi'lek are the onlyrace who have that. So they are meantfor entertainers. Such asMon Calsfor crafting. If they didnt have race specific bonus's, then they would only need one race to play simply because of stat migration. I chose twi'lek purposely for dance. Anyone else have a better comments?

((To use your logic, Twi'Lekwere given by the developers alower stamina than other races, therefore they aren't meant to be dancers. Make sense? No.


Twi'Leks have a bonus for dancing. It doesn't mean they were intended to be the end all, be all for dancers. So I guess in your line of thinking, because you are a Twi'Lek, all other species should give up and go home? That is what you are arguing, it seems to me.


It is give and take. Twi'Leks get bonuses to entertainers, and without stat migration, my Rodian can dancelong afteryour Twi'Lek is exhausted. Check the character creation. Rodians get a bonus for weapons crafting, so we should be just as smart as a Mon Cal, right? No. Diversity is a good thing.


And not a very cool move to ask for comments, then when you get one to ask "Anyone else have a better comments". If you just wanted people to say they agree with you, then say that.))

I never expectedto see racial comparisionsin the GFFA, but then, I'm just a blonde human dancer . . ..

I'm going to agree here, it does seem a bit out of proportion... In fact, it doesn't even agree with the descriptions.



I could accept the give and take argument.. If it weren't such a huge difference. There was a quote somewhere that "the strongest human will never have the strength of the strongest wookie".



From the manual:



"Humans: The most common species in the galaxy. Humans receive no bonuses or penalties to their attributes, making them the most well-rounded characters."



"Wookiees: Towering, hairy humanoids known for their great loyalty and inner strength. Wookiees are the strongest species in the game."



Well guess what? Wookie's max strength? 850. Human max strength? 1100.



Here's the min/max for the various races of all stats in order.. The first line is their quoted stat bonus in character creation. The next two are their actual in game min and max stat values.



Notice how one of them seems a bit disproportionate? I'll let you figure out which one. I included a baseline min/max as well. The first line of the baseline is the range. Most of the others follow this. There are a few exceptions, however in all those cases, it is the minimum that is the exception, not the maximum. All except human.
