I finally figured out why people claim they can't findmind buffs....

Enter dancers and musicians, including master musician with title showing and master dancer, followed by cantina patron
Cantina patron: looking to hire master for mind buff
Me: Musician or dancer?
Cantina patron: can anyone mind buff?
Me: Only if you pay attention
Exeunt cantina patron

Yes... add to that the people who complain that the buff was no good when they were sporting a fading buff, spice downer, or battle fatigue. And even after being told, they either DON'T watch/listen- or don't STOP to check the buff.

Anymore, I feel likeI have have people read a brochure and sign a contract saying they read and understand about buffs.

Ironically, I can't find anywhere /setperform is documented in any forum or in-game

Things not documented for entertainers that are only spread by word of mouth:

/setperform
/changeband
/startband
/stopband
/bandflourish
/bandflourish on/off
/bandflourish n <instrument>
/pausemusic
/<effect> 1-3
How to find the fun

Only the first 4 are commonly known/used though

I'm sure there are others I'm forgetting. Someone somewhere posted a guide of all the entertainer commands. I'm not sure where it is or if I'm just misremembering. Maybe I'll have to write up a bit of a guide.

Lesson: Get a grade school education and some manners. I'm not your buff bot or <beep>tch.

Thats about 33% of customers each. No wonder 66% of people can't find a buff when they need one. They don't know how to look. They'd never expect a weaponsmith to sell them something when they stand in the middle of his shop yelling "give pistol".

Denial ofService has to be re-initialized like registration. You stop playing and leave the facility, and it's over with. It's not like /addignore.

So they can still make use of your skills, unless you make a macro to /denyservice to everyone on your Ignore List...and keep it up-to-date.

The abilityto control who benefits from the work we've put into our profession just isn't as important as Medics, who have to actively choose who they heal.

With the deny macro list - can you deny someone who isn't in the cantina? If you can't, the macro is not useful.

Well, I just now tried doing /denyservice to someone I know wasn't in the Cantina. No message at all. Surprise.

So, no, it wouldn't do any good. I'm gonna have a heart attack and die of not-surprise.

Time to get my leotarded fanny back in the cantina. I'll make sure I stay barefoot. :rolls her eyes
