*disclaimer* i'm not an entertainer

i am so thankfull for entertainers. if i can find an entertainer atk, i am sure to alway watch and tip them. i just wish you were on eclipse server. maybe the end of the holo grind will make people appreciate entertainers more. i sure hope so.

The end of the hologrind will put a stop to a lot of the AFK-Macro bots across all galaxies.

It will not end the problem once and for all, but it should help.

I do encourage everyone to NOT tip these bots, however.

These people do not earn one credit by making a macro do all the work for them.

Instead, tip the Entertainers who are actually there trying to make things more fun by actually communicating with you.

I always have fun making fun of the bots while I play:

"Tips are appreciated!"
"Oh yea? Well I'd appreciate it if you'd shut up, but it ain't gonna happen!"

You're not alone Areej There are a lot of us live entertainers out there, for those patrons who care to sift through all the spam to chat with us. The way of the buffbot is easy and seductive (and cheap...sorta like the dark side ) and it will take effort on all of our parts to lure our audiences away from them. I think you are correct when you say that they will never entirely disappear, but if their profits are hurt by the number of live entertainers at least their numbers might lessen. Keep a good attitude and a positive outlook on it like you have been, after all what is light without shadow?

Being LIVE and witty is a great combination! Glad to see another live one to the rank... as for my opinion of LIVE entertainers... I can some it up by quoting a non-entertainer at Coronet Starport, during Cantina Crawl VII,

Just wanted to add that the other night, I had the BEST night in the game EVER, and all I did was dance/play music in the cantina all night.

Almost everyone Entertaining were LIVE people.

I had just gotten a bunch of BE clothing to help with Entertainer Wound Healing, and everyone was having fun poking at my strange outfit(Picture a Zabrak with black hotpants with a red outline, a dark blue vest, and a chef hat!).

The cantina was almost packed all night.

I even got to witness my first Jedi fighting off some Rebel scum!

I only hope to have even half the fun next time I get in the cantina and play.

I just have to say that I am having a lot of fun when Dancing so far. I see a lot of folks being afk and right in the middle of the floor where live entertainers are trying to their thing...entertain the masses. I definitely won't be one of those just dancing mindlessly while watching tv. I enjoy the interaction so far I have had while chatting with others and just doing some role play while dancing. It is neat to see that folks out there think the same thing.
