Thread: Hi there! I'm new at entertainer.

I'm new at entertainer and I want to become a dancer. I leave SWG on for a few hours while im out somewhere and when i come back i find that it auto logs me out. How can I prevent this?

It's really easy.
Don't keep the gamegoing while AFK.
Problem solved.

You'll find that many people here consider afk entertaining as a kind of cheating. It really ruins the cantina atmosphere to have dozens of zombies standing around doing nothing while you are trying to entertain. When this game first started most people who went afk (for dinner or laundry or something) would either stop dancing or go into one of the side rooms. Since holocrons came along all politeness has fled and now you will see dozens of afk dancers and musicians cluttering the prime dance spots and soaking up all the xp.
In short, not very many people will be nice if you admit that you add to the zombie problem. It really ruins the profession for a lot of people.
You will get better xp if you are in a large group. Find a group of live entertainers that you can chat with and have fun, and talk to all the patrons as they come in. The xp will come very quickly I promise.
