Hey
An idea just occured to me, like most my ideas it was a fairly simple one, so don't know if it's been mentioned before or if it's possible to do.
Most of the griefing about Entertainers is because of two things..
Macrospam about autojoining and other such annoyances
and
Buffbots that can buff people while being afk.
If the command /join was removed, wouldn't that solve a lot of the problems? Having to click accept to join a group really isn't much of a problem, and if people weren't able to make macros allowing them to join groups, it would cut down on the simple solutions about botbuffing.. they would have to use exploits (other clicking programs) to run those buffbots, and that would mean they could get reported for running afk-buffbots, which would in time cut down on the problem.
It might mean having the group-join thingies needing to pop up at random places on the screen, but that shouldn't be too hard to code I think.

Yes, we've talked about this one for some time now. The general consensus seems to bethatbuffbots would just start using the other method, rather than autojoining.
Really, I think the answer to the end of buffbots is one of two things. Stopping the recursive macro entirely, or removing passive buffing capabilities and making all buffing targeted in some way that cannot be macroed with the in-game system. At least that way, if someone is non-responsive yet AFK buffing, we've got them for 3rd party software. /report.
