Thread: How to mind buff?

Hi, me and my friends are fed up or paying 6k for mind buffs and waiting around for them.
So i am taking up dancer to buff minds.
I know theres a few Mind buff Palaces you can go in and get buffs, you just group up with the buffer.
I was thinking of using the same kind of thing but dont know any commands.
Does anybody know the command, or what i do to direct my attention to the group? I can then do all my friends at once.
Also, whats the time they need to ne watching/listening for a MAX mind buff? I think its roughly 3 mins isnt it?

If you group with everyone all they need to do is /watch for mind buffs and /listen for focus and willpower buffs. You use /setperf to direct your attention to an outside member you are not grouped with.
As far as maxed buffs, it depends on what flourish method you're using, But to get a 3 minute buff you will need to have quick and stam buffs i believe and flourish constantly. There is a post here somewhere with those macros on it. One is 3 minute, one is 5 to 6. If you are doing a flourish every 8 sec then it takes 8 minutes to get a full mind buff.

So long as you don't buffbot (AFK buff - like the players you've grouped with) then Dancer buff your friends all you like. I hope you enjoy your new profession.
First, a couple quick questions and points to make...when it really comes down to it, is 6k really that much? Is it really so long to wait to get a dancer buff? You'll still have to wait, mind you - at least, your friends will. Also, as a Dancer, you won't be able to buff yourself. Just a heads up...your friends get the buffing advantage of your player, but not you.
Anyways, to buff in 3 minutes, 10 seconds - invite your friends into your group. have them /watch you. Now, you need a Quickness or Stamina buff (or friends who can heal a lot, and fast). Then you need to flourish five times, pause for 8 seconds, and repeat that the whole time. When your friends /stopwatch they'll get their buff. If you ever want to buff someone outside of a group, target them and type /setperform. Flourish like stated above for a little over 3 minutes. Buff's done.
I simply request you don't AFK buffbot once you're a Dancer. It's a service you'll work hard to provide (lots of dancing to do) so reconsider givingDancer buffsaway so easily. I hope you enjoy your new profession of Dancer a lot, it's fun. Also, healing/buffing mind is a powerful skill to have in the game right now.
