I would like to bring your attention to the above post....... please voice your opinion on the link if you are as "annoyed" as I am
DETAIL FOLLOWS:
Hi all,
I have just set up a new mind buffbot at -5375 3419 800 meters from theed. This is a different style of buff bot so pls read the instructions below or on the bone plates in the entrance hall. This buffbot invites u and buffs the group so theres to queing to get buffs
1/. Stand on top of the robobartender next to mire
2/. She will invite you (if not move around a little till she does)
3/. Move off the robo and wait for the next session to start (she will tell u when it is starting) Pls note if u start watching halfway through u may not get full buff.
4/. Once she announces the start of the new buff select mire andtype either /watch or /listen depending on what she is doing
5/. wait until mire tells u to stop then type either /stopwatching or /stoplistening
6/. Repeat step 4 and 5
7/. Ungroup and your done
This is differrent to other buffbots cause she buffs groups.......which i prefer as i hate waiting in line. That is the other reason i have her on 10 minute cycles. I have tested her with 5 people in the group and i can get maxmind and max focus and willpower.
I hope this helps people out as its impossible to get mind buffs if u dont have an alt, hence why i only charge 6k. As i see it 2k per stat buffed. I will do my best to keep her running from around 9-10 in the morning till close of server, GMT. If she falls over while at work im sorry but i cant do anything about it.......blame SOE not me as i have her on a rock solid server. If people have fair and constructive advise on how i can make this service more people friendly or usable please post here as ill do my best to make this as easy to use as possible.

There are like at least 3 different threads in the Bloodfin forums for stuff like this. These ones I don't mind as much because they aren't in a public cantina. I mean I still hate them but having them out in some building some where is better then having them in the npc cantinas.

It likely has to do with target the Robo Bartender then cycling targets and inviting them.

I will agree with the above that this being a private buff bot service makes it "not as bad" but still really bad. At least this buff bot won't be spamming in the public cantinas. Thats something I guess.
What saddens me most about this is someone obviously spent a lot of time leveling this entertainer, working out this complex and complicated macro, spent hours testing this set up, hours working with the character, only to never play it again and use it as an automated money funnel. That, above all else, really makes me sad =/

I'm pretty sure it's third party macro. Cycling target only works for things that are attackable. I've heard of similar things where they had "Sit in this chair". If it were just cycling target, they wouldn't need the "Move a little" or it would just be "Stand near this chair".
Edit: Someone does mention a command in the thread to target under the cursor. I don't remember if I saw that one or not, going to try it when I get home.

There is a specific command that lets you target whatever is under your cursor. It has the same effect as clicking and holding the mouse button on someone. I'm sure thats what they are using.

The fact that she says to stand on the robo bartender insinuates she's using a 3rd party macro program (auto-clicker) to select someone and invite them. I say report the post and tell em the bot's exploiting.
How else would she /invite random people while AFK? If there's a non-3rd party program way, i'd like to know. My suggestion is, go to the buffbot during the day. Wait to get the /invite. Submit CSR ticket on exploit and wait. Let the good times roll.

Hey, at least she's charging! On my server, nobody would visit because she isn't free.

If someone is willing to run a buffbot, I'm notgiving that person the benefit of the doubt when it comes to whether or not they're using a 3rd party macro. Obviously this person is not only a buffbot participating in the downfall of the entertainment professions, but (s)he is quite proud of the fact, otherwise it wouldn't be advertised. No one of such low morals is going to convince me that a 3rd party macro isn't used when operating this buffbot. Heck, that person would have a difficult time convincing me that the sun is hot or that rain is wet.
*shrug*
It's just my opinion, you may take it, leave it, use it, or abuse it as you see fit, but I'm betting a 3rd party macro is used.
