If you walk into a Pub, there might not be a Entrance fee, but the prices for drinks are higher, and since you are in public, you might get out your best manners. Besides that, most of those RL entertainers are on a stage far away from the audience.
I'm not denying a customer if he can't/won't tip, but if he starts harrassing me, he will get cut off. If you make troubles in a pub, harras the Entertainer, you get kicked out and might even have to deal with the his lawyer.
If you go into a concert, disco, or other places where the artists *SELL* their music to make you have a good time, you wouldn't want somebody spoiling it.
Or maybe we should just ask to add Entrance fees to the public cantinas and the entertainers get a fair share. On the other hand, that maybe would cut the Newstarters out because of low cash.
As I said, I will not /deny customers who won't tip, but if they start to harras me or start to abuse me with emotes even after I told him to leave me alone. He will walk out happy, because he had his fun and got healed. If he would do that with a doc, the doc stands up and doesn't heal him anymore.

Twi'lek Entertainer on Eclipse
Not a dancer myself, but asked to post here by my RL Girlfriend who is. Her name is Avarra on Starsider. She takes dancing primarily because we need it for our group, and she hopes to heal Mind wounds in camp. She's not into the Cantina scene, but when she goes there to dance, she HATES the fact that she is forced to heal idiots there. Idiots being people who duel there, disrupting everything around them, or morons who take it so seriously they're giving disgusting tells or harassing the dancers and calling it "roleplaying". Yeah.. CSR will help.. MAYBE an hour or two after the clowns startin with their garbage. There really needs to be a server where adults can play without 12-16 year old punks. Thank god school is back in.
She may be unusual in that she doesn't mind tips, but has another means of gaining cash (missions). She'd never use the power to force tips, but she's also not doing entertainer as her sole profession in the game.
