I have not dropped any of my skills, but frustration about no advancement in ID to complete my character template since the institution of the timer has spilled over to my feeling for this character as a whole, so I have stopped playing her and have been spending more time with my alt on another server. Perhaps when I can begin advancing up ID again if the timers are removed I will return, but logging on for an hour, feeling like I am accomplishing nothing wasn't fun.

Teedo told the worst jokes you could ever imagine. Kif was absolutely knock your socks off gorgeous.The 3 of us metin the Moenia cantina not too long after I moved to Naboo from Corellia last July. We danced together for a few months and stayed friends after I dropped dance. Teedo logged in less and less until he just faded away. We had sooo much fun..but then I guess we all have the same stories...

Sinda was one of the first dancers to be outspoken on these forums. I never got to know her well as I stayed pretty much on Naboo and she was all over the place. Whenever I ran into her she was always warm and friendly and contributed to so many people's gaming fun. She was a solid role-model for many.

Some time late last fall Kif quit answering my tells and e-mails. I later learned that she had left the game and her husband had taken over her account.

A couple of months ago a friend and I were just sitting around chatting. The guild of which he had been a member was shutting down..most of his friends were closing their accounts and leaving the game. As we watched log off notification as Kif's husband log their accounts for the last time we talked about how much fun I had dancing with her. He said I should go back to it, that I seemed to enjoy it more than anything else. He was right.

So I'm back dancing. The problems that frustrated me before; LAMErs, lack of content, lack of feeling of inclusion in the game..these all still exist. They still bother me as much as they did when I chose to drop Master Dancer late last September..as much as they bothered Teedo, Kif and Sinda.I've met no one who can fill the void left by them. But I still prefer to dance, so I'll dance alone.

Maybe you'd get more input if you listed why you want the information...

As for me, you may consider me a ghost. My son reactivated his account for a month and I decided to have a look at what had changed in the profession. Sadly, it seems the answer is "not much". The concerns here are pretty much the same as they were 6-7 months ago and the answers coming back from the devs are pretty much the same as they were back then.

Reason for Leaving: Burnout (four months of beta test followed by five months of live), holocrons, unresponsive devs. (though I'll readily hand Keldarin, the entertainer dev at the time, kudos for being very interactive with the entertainment correspondents.)

You can ignore the signature and the username. Those are my son's. He's actually been a master entertainer and a master musician at one time or another also, but has dropped them both to get more combat oriented professions. I guess that means you can treat it as a double entry if you like. *heh*

Oh, I am so sorry about that. I know the recent changes have been hard on many people who play Image Designers. Hopefully your wife will find some reason to return.
